My passion for nails & teaching has gone from strength to strength the past 3 years. There’s honestly nothing I don’t adore about my job - the knowledge I have absorbed, the client base I have gained & the online classes I have held throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns. It really is true that ‘you get out what you put in’. I actually studied Dance at University, unbeknown to me that it was not going to be my career path. I got to my 3rd year & something clicked, it was not making me happy anymore. I knew I always had a creative streak - I just had to figure out where to channel it. Beauty was always a passion of mine - I loved doing make up for a while, but it felt more of a hobby and I soon shrugged it off. Then the next minute, I found myself watching more nail tutorials on YouTube than I was actually studying! A big sign. I then began to research nail courses, plenty of them in fact! Fast forward... I graduated Uni, completed my nail course, and the rest is history! I truly found my feet when I found my love for nails. Now I want to help people do the same.

The Power of Mediation in Business and Relationships by Bernadette Willems “I’ve had enough….” “How do I leave my husband….” “They are just not listening….” “How can we stop this from getting ugly….” “It’ll be lonely this Christmas….” “We’ve tried everything, and nothing is working….” “I’ve had enough of life….”  These are just some comments I hear daily in my role as The Business Peacemaker and The Post-Divorce Specialist at Greater Manchester Mediation Limited.  With more than 25 years of experience as a Family Solicitor, Mediator, Trainer and Coach in the field of conflict resolution, I help people lead a better life and a brighter future free from debilitating disputes – thereby helping to create a better world for all of us. The key to this is ‘Mediation’. But what is it, and how does it work? As founder of Greater Manchester Mediation Limited, and as ‘The Business Peacemaker’ and ‘The Post-Divorce Specialist’, I show my clients primarily how to communicate with each other. This is vital, as it ensures that vulnerable or emotionally fragile clients feel heard and empowered, and it rebuilds bridges between estranged parties.  I am also there to support my clients in navigating the legal process, helping them understand the requirements of law and to find the best route to resolve their disputes. You must enter all your qualifications from secondary education onwards – whether you have the result (even any that were ungraded) or you’re still awaiting exams and results. This helps unis and colleges to understand if you meet their entry requirements. However, sometimes a uni or college will make you an offer even if you don't meet the exact grades they're asking for. If you have any questions about entry requirements, speak to the uni/college before you apply. If you're waiting for results, these are the exam results we're able to process and forward on to unis and colleges. If any of your pending qualifications aren't on this list, you still need to add them to your application, but also remember you’ll need to send the results on to your chosen universities and colleges when you get them. If you studied at a uni or college but didn't finish the course, you still need to enter these details. Include the start and finish date, and state that you didn't receive any qualifications there. If you are currently studying for a qualification or awaiting results, it is important you make sure your referee adds your predicted grades to your application – some universities and colleges will not consider your application without them. It's really important you enter the right qualifications on your application – especially if you're taking a vocational qualification, such as a BTEC – as there are a number of different options to choose from in the application, depending on the size and type of qualification you're taking. If you're not sure which version of a qualification you're taking, talk to your school or college, or contact us for advice.
