You will gain insights into the technical aspects of leatherworking, including preparation, marking, cutting, gluing, reinforcing, skiving, debossing, and more. You will receive valuable handouts, curated lists of leather and tool suppliers for ongoing reference, and create personalised samples for your own reference. This Beginners Barbering Course is aimed at those looking to be work-ready upon completion and working towards an internationally recognised Barbering qualification. After an initial induction, on day 2 you will learn to cut & style utilising the 5 Alan d Foundation haircuts before moving on to the practical elements of Barbering, incorporating all the latest techniques using scissors, scissor-over-comb, clippers & trimmers and learning beard and moustache trimming and wet shaving.

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins.
