Art Play is a space based in Shoreditch, that provides creative workshops for both children and adults. If you are looking to learn a new skill, make new friends or simply have fun doing something a bit different, we are the place for you! Here at Art Play London, we offer a wide range of creative workshops for adults and children of all ages. We believe in the importance of expressing ourselves creatively, freeing our imaginations and most importantly, having fun! Whether you're an artist already or looking to try something new, we offer a huge selection of classes for all abilities. Art Play has a strong focus on the environment and aims to educate children and adults on their environmental impact through art. We therefore use a variety of sustainable mediums and materials. We are a part of the worldwide Precious Plastic Community, which means we have a plastic collection point for HDPE plastic, which would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean. Once collected, the plastic is shredded and melted using equipment we have in our studio. It can then be turned into useful objects such as plant pots and coasters, and can even be turned into art! Art Play London was founded by Silva Castellani in 2018, starting out as pop-up events around London. We set up our studio space in February 2022 and are now permanently based in Shoreditch.

We are a young company with big ambitions to become an environmentally sustainable force in green infrastructure. We deliver high-quality projects that focus on providing the benefits of plants to a space and the people who inhabit it in an environmentally conscious and professional manner. Plants are vital to our lives, providing for many of our needs and producing a clean and healthy environment that keeps us both physically and psychologically healthy. However, the development of large cities and urban lifestyles has led to an estrangement from plants and obscured our relationship with them. This has manifested itself into problems for urban areas and is causing a reduction in the quality of life of billions worldwide. Reintegrating plants into our lives is a cost-effective, ecologically friendly, and aesthetically pleasing solution to many of these issues. As a company, we combine scientific and horticultural expertise with business integrity and high-quality design to provide these solutions to our clients. We continually convert the fast-growing body of scientific research on green infrastructure into real-world projects. Children's TV and Film School We are a part time TV and film school for children based at Pinewood Studios. We deliver a unique range of screen and film classes in a fun and practical way to 6-16 years. We are passionate about ensuring that children are well trained and we offer our students a huge wealth of opportunities to meet casting directors, directors, top coaches. We offer lessons, close to the new Shinfield Studios in Reading, on Sunday mornings from 10.30am until 12.30pm and close to Pinewood studios in Iver Heath on Tuesday evenings 5pm until 6pm We offer weekly acting lessons exclusively for TV and films. Ideal for beginners, our courses allow children to learn techniques that build their confidence in a fun and unique way. Children perform against green screens on a weekly basis. Every week we focus on a different style and scenario making these classes fun and highly interactive. Children will receive immediate feedback and at the end of each term their work will be showcased in a glamorous red carpet style premiere event for their friends and family. Children who are currently represented in the industry can learn techniques for onscreen acting.
