Loughton Music Academy (LMA) is a private school specialising in Music education in a variety of music styles and have been delivering bespoke and curriculum based music tuition since 2005. The school currently facilitates tuition for 550 students per term and also offers tuition in Languages & Art workshops. Most of our classes are after school hours, evenings and weekends at times that don’t conflict with academic school studies or regular working hours. However, we also have a growing community of adult learners during weekday times. All major music examination boards containing NQF and EQF credits are taught including ABRSM, IPVAEB, Orange learn, Trinity, LCM, Peembeck, IPMA, Rsl (formerly rockschool), RGT and new for 2021 the LMA’s own newly accredited Piano exams. For our Language classes we teach the UK curriculum upto and including G.C.S.E as well as conversational classes. We promote education in oncological imaging and stimulate research in the study of human tumour behaviour, bringing together radiologists with an interest in oncological imaging for the exchange of ideas, and to organise scientific meetings, multicentre research studies and postgraduate courses within the field. The Society online journal Cancer Imaging , is an open access, peer-reviewed journal featuring original articles and reviews written by international experts on the new developments, techniques and latest research into oncological imaging. Membership is open to everyone with an interest in the field and includes discounted registration fees for all ICIS Annual Teaching Courses and ICIS Interactive one-day workshops. Fellowship of the Society is by nomination and election. Fellowship includes physicians who have made a significant contribution to oncological imaging and are involved or interested in the clinical practice, teaching and research of cancer radiology. Student Light Mission With 10.5% of students in the UK not making it to the end of their degrees and 78% of students in the UK saying they've experienced mental health issues, something has to be done to increase retention rates and tackle the increasing levels of poor mental health within higher education institutions. Through extensive research, we've identified many of the common causes of students leaving university and experiencing mental health issues. With the direct support of university students and services, we've come up with many solutions to try and tackle these problems. This business hopes to act as a tool and resource for personal development, social and community development and most importantly a support tool for students. Secondly, networking, sharing data & research, sharing ideas and collaborating across different universities and Students’ Unions is difficult and an issue well overdue to be improved; especially when it comes to doing large scale data collection for research that's is key to effective campaigns and connecting common student groups/communities. Wise Studies was founded in 2014 by Ryan Spielman and Spencer Barron. Our mission is to make available in-depth audio learning courses focusing on the texts and teachings of the world’s great contemplative traditions. We are not only the founders of Wise Studies we are consumers, as well! One of the reasons we are producing these courses is for our own study. Establishing and facilitating this relational practice in London and throughout the world I have expanded my interests and understanding. At Oasis Hub Hobmoor, we are actively engaged in creating a community that is characterised by trust, safety, cohesion, mutual support, vibrancy, health and opportunity, where individuals feel included, connected and supported and in which they feel happy and proud to live. Our aim is to help to create a local community where people of all ages and situations feel included, know that they can contribute and realise a deep sense of belonging. Oasis Community Hub Hobmoor is particularly focused in the South Yardley area of Birmingham, and at the meeting point of three Wards: Tyseley and Hay Mills, South Yardley and Yardley West and Stechford, although it also works beyond those wards in a number of ways. The work of the Hub incorporates the formal education delivered by Oasis Academy Hobmoor and Hobmoor Community Centre, as well as a large number of community projects that are run alongside them to support students, their families and the wider community. The Hub has made a transformational change to the life of the local community in a number of ways. In 2018/19 the Hub worked with a total of 2,718 local people and had a total of 62 individual volunteers.
