Like thousands of parents across the UK, mother of three, ReedahEl-Saiewas frustrated with an antiquated education system originally designed post industrial revolution to prepare children for factory work. She had witnessed how exams and revision had caused her children stress and anxiety, resulting in them losing their love of learning. As a family of diverse heritage Reedahalso hoped for a more inclusive curriculum both in terms of content and delivery. In winter 2018, whilst preparing her son for 11+, Reedah came across Fortnite which her sons during revision breaks. She noticed how the 3D open world, multi-player, action game appealed to children across the world. She imagined 3D open world, educational game, including diverse characters and stories, fully aligned with the UK national curriculum and entrance exams, enabling learning through play. After extensive but fruitless research for a pre-existing educational mobile games app aligned with the UK national curriculum, Reedahfounded BrainsparkGames (previosulyXplorealms). Her vision was to create a 3D open world, celebrating diverse characters, using awesome immersive technology to engage wider audiences as well as BAME, vulnerable and neurodiverse. She researched the twenty-first century skills movement and flip schools and held workshops and interviewed children, parents and teachers to ensure a user-led product. Brainsparkwas founded in in November 2019 and is on a mission to revolutionise the way children learn in every corner of the world!

Our practise is all about connecting the body to the breath and the physical to the spiritual. We have everything you need to make your class comfortable and safe – mats and blocks are available, or you can bring your own. All levels of students are catered for – we welcome total beginners and those that have practiced for years. Founded in 1989, we are a single organisation with seventeen Chapters across England and Wales. Our Chapters are led by local people acting together for the common good through the method of Community Organising. The UK has a rich history of people organising for power and change such as the Levellers, the Abolitionists, the Chartists, early trade unionists like the match girls and dock strikers, and the Suffragettes. Our work at Citizens UK is influenced by a heritage which draws on the broad-based organising of our sister organisation, the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) and before that the US civil rights movement. Over the last thirty years we have won £1.8bn in additional wages for low paid workers, ended child detention for immigration purposes, secured an amnesty of ‘legacy cases’ for 160,000 asylum applicants as well as winning many victories at the local and regional level. We build power with people so that together we can move from the world as it is toward the world as it should be. Some of our campaigns have spun off into dedicated projects, to create long-term change. The largest and most successful of these teams is the Living Wage Foundation which now accredits a network of over 9,000 employers who pay 300,000 employees the real Living Wage. Others include Parents and Communities Together (PACT) and Sponsor Refugees. We are proud of other social innovations that have successfully spun out to become independent organisations such as Safe Passage, London Community Land Trust and Money Mentors.

Plants are vital to our lives, providing for many of our needs and producing a clean and healthy environment that keeps us both physically and psychologically healthy. However, the development of large cities and urban lifestyles has led to an estrangement from plants and obscured our relationship with them. This has manifested itself into problems for urban areas and is causing a reduction in the quality of life of billions worldwide. Reintegrating plants into our lives is a cost-effective, ecologically friendly, and aesthetically pleasing solution to many of these issues. As a company, we combine scientific and horticultural expertise with business integrity and high-quality design to provide these solutions to our clients. We continually convert the fast-growing body of scientific research on green infrastructure into real-world projects. Our intelligent planting structures make areas greener and cleaner - benefiting both people and the local environment.
