At Hestia we support adults and children in times of crisis. We deliver services across London and the Southeast, advocate nationally on the issues that affect the people we work with and also provide training for employers on both modern slavery and domestic abuse and sexual violence. Modern Slavery: Hestia's specialist Modern Slavery trainings are designed to provide your staff with an in depth understanding of the current scale and nature of exploitation in the UK and globally. Through real life case studies, discussions and interactive tasks, attendees will gain the skills they need to navigate the UK's support systems and laws, helping them to confidently identify when someone might be a victim of Modern Slavery. All our trainings require a minimum sign up of 12 people and are delivered by our team of Modern Slavery specialists online or at your place of work. Training packages include: domestic abuse awareness training, HR & line manager training and Domestic Abuse Champion Training. The training will look at different types of abuse, how to spot the signs and how to respond to disclosures. Our Church and this city have long loomed large in Scientology history, for it was in London in 1952 that Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard established the first Scientology Organisation in the United Kingdom. We are honoured to make our home today in the historic City of London. Our landmark building is a magnificent example of the work of renowned 19th century architect Edward l’Anson. Moreover, our Church realises Mr. Hubbard’s vision that all Churches of Scientology become what he termed Ideal Organisations (Orgs). Ideal Orgs not only provide the ideal facilities for Scientologists on their ascent to higher states of spiritual awareness and freedom, but they also serve as a home for the entire community and a meeting ground of cooperative effort to uplift people of all denominations. For A Better You was founded in 2015 when I left my retail career of 15 years to embark on my journey of becoming a Pilates Instructor. My passion for pelvic floor health lead me to become a Pelvic Floor health coach in 2020 and I am now in the process of becoming a Biomechanics coach.
