There are two options to complete the NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations, these are the C&G 2346 and C&G 2357. Successful completion of the NVQ and AM2 assessment will satisfy the entry criteria for JIB accredited electricians

The City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 Course is the natural progression for anyone who has completed the Level 2 Diploma 2365 course or related level 2 courses. On completion of this course you will then be able to undertake the Level 3 NVQ thus becoming recognised as a fully qualified electrical engineer within the industry with the ability to apply for JIB (Gold Card) membership upon successful completion of the AM2 Assessment. If you have at least 5 years working experience and you would like to attain Gold Card status via the Experienced Worker route by joining the City & Guilds 2346 NVQ Level 3, you will also need to hold the below two pre-requisite qualifications: City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing Course C&G 2382-22 BS7671 18th Edition

Even if you have completed a level 3 NVQ or a previous version of the wiring regulations, you still will have to prove you are conversant with the current standards. So therefore, keeping up to date with the latest wiring regulations satisfies these requirements. Be able to administer first aid to a casualty with injuries to bones, muscles and joints. Assess an incident. Be able to administer first aid to a casualty with suspected head and spinal injuries. Manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally. Be able to administer first aid to a casualty with suspected chest injuries. Manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally. Be able to administer first aid to a casualty with burns and scalds. Be able to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking. Be able to administer first aid to a casualty with an eye injury. Be able to conduct a secondary survey. Who should attend? This qualification is for people who deal with first aid at work. Enabling them to be workplace first aiders under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. This qualification is also for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities. This will allow them to provide basic first aid to people in a range of situations. Pre-requisites Students must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training. Assessment and Certifications Assessment of this course is continuous and includes two theory/multiple choice question papers. Successful students will receive an Immerse Training Certificate, which is valid for three years. This certificate will be issued by Qualsafe, the awarding body for Immerse Training.
