PDO Threads are a non-surgical treatment, used to restore the clients skin elasticity & volume without the use of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments which some clients can be against the idea of. There is a wide range of threads available, therefore meaning you can offer a tailored treatment for the client depending on the desired result required. ​Mono threads are great for clients with early signs of ageing that want to enhance their collagen production in specific areas along with a slight lifting effect, they can be used anywhere on the face and body with very little downtime. Course prerequisites This course is suitable for those with or without a medical background. It is designed to provide the student with the ability to seek employment or start their own business upon qualification. At a minimum, students will be required to be qualified for at least one of the following: Medically qualified as a nurse, doctor or dentist with current registration with the NMC, GMC or GDC. Cavitation, also known as Ultrasound Cavitation, is a treatment that has been around for a number of years now, as a non-surgical alternative to liposuction for the reduction of Fat. Cavitation uses ultrasound waves to break down the excess fat. We call it the 'non-surgical liposuction' because there is no need for anesthesia, no pain, no incision and no recovery time. The ultrasound waves are delivered through the surface of the skin via an ultrasound probe. Cavitation can be dangerous if not used correctly due to the depth of penetration of the ultrasound beam but with the correct training and understanding safe practices can be used to ensure great results to remove excess fat without the need for surgery. Cavitation can also be used in the treatment of cellulite, skin tightening and stretch marks. Not only does this treatment keep clients happy due to its long-lasting effects, clients will need to return to the salon to have the gel polish removed, guaranteeing you repeat bookings.
