The visit is a couple of hours to walk around the farm and get hands on, in a safe way with baby lambs and/or tractors and ask questions about poo or dinosaurs and anything else that pops into their heads. You can stay longer and play in the fields if the weather is nice but dont forget it sometimes snows in April!!! We've been running these visits for a few years now, they are government funded so entirely free to you. We are all DBS checked with years of working with children under our belts, the visit is fully risk assessed and we ask that you do a pre visit so that you know what you're coming to. There is indoor and outdoor space to bring your own picnic and loads of parking for a minibus. We can give you a nice cup of tea and ensure the children are safe and clean before you go home. It's perfect for any age group but primary get particular joy and great learning from being on a real working farm. A relaxed and informal Blackwork Embroidery course in the lovely setting of a converted 18th Century cotton mill in Warwick Bridge, Carlisle. This course has been designed to guide the complete beginner or act as a refresher for those who may have dabbled in Blackwork embroidery in the past. We will cover the history, styles of Blackwork embroidery, threads and techniques.

Focusing on you and your dog outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 dog training session, can be really useful for you and your dog. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a dog a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situation such good dog manners when guests come to our house. We can also develop a training plan to help address existing undesirable behaviours your experiencing such as your dog pulling on lead, your dog not performing recall, dog to dog reactivity, dog to person reactivity or even your dog chasing birds or squirrels.   1-2-1 dog training sessions are typically 1 hour or 1.5 hours long, depending on the issue, or number of things you want to look at in a single session. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your dog's particular issue. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 dog training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. 1.5 hours= £90, including follow up report. (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) Above prices are based on Dog Training being in and around Bishop's Stortford (IE Sawbridgeworth, Much Hadham, Little Hallingbury, Harlow, Puckeridge, Standon, Manudon), I am happy to travel, subject to agreed travel costs.

Paint Some Pottery With Your Friends! These adult-only painting sessions run every month 6.30-9. 30pm. Pay for your chosen seat/table inc studio fee, welcome drink, half a large pizza, salad and coleslaw, dessert, coffee & mints. Select an item of pottery to paint on the night (sold seperately) and enjoy your evening. Our studio team will be on hand to offer advice, tips and suggestions on techniques that may help you where you want it. These evenings are relaxed and friendly and the ideal opportunity to have some fun in a creative atmosphere! 😁 Please note once painted your pottery will be glazed & fired and ready for collection 7-10 days later.
