VR Safety Day - This is for large organisations who would like to increase safety and environmental awareness engagement We will bring instructors and equipment utilising the following 3 VR applications: The VR Fire Trainer - by Vobling CPR in VR - by 4 Help VR Waste segregation by 4 Help VR Our approved instructors plan the day to suit your site with upto 3 VR stations and a top gear styled board and prizes for the winner, you are going to wow your staff and increase safety knowledge and training retention. This training can be done during morning's or afternoon's, lunch times or throughout the day. We will be using the VR Fire Trainer to help your staff to identify which extinguisher is the correct one, and extinguish a fire safely all whilst holding a real 6 KG Extinguisher. We will take them through a series of scenarios and ensure the learner leaves us knowing when it is safe or not to use an extinguisher We will then be saving someone using CPR in a city, all whilst having instruction from paramedicus a digital paramedic talking you through how to deliver CPR correctly and giving you real time feedback. Lastly, we will enrol your staff in our aste sorting game in VR, which will leave your learner thinking about correct waste segregation. You are against the clock for 2 mins to see who can score the best throughout your day. This course covers the basics of dog grooming. In addition to 5 days at our school, there are 2 written modules, grooming diaries and 1 assessment at the end of the 5 days. The 5 days on this course count as part of the 15 day Certificate or the 30 day Diploma if you wish to upgrade. About this Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT)  This 2-half-day Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) course will discuss the chemical aspects of the water-steam cycle in a power plant. The VILT course will examine the different types of chemicals used in boilers, potential issues in a water-steam cycle as well as aspects of monitoring and specifications regarding target values and alarm levels. Participants will also be equipped on what to do or key action steps to take in the event of chemistry-related incidents. This course is delivered in partnership with ENGIE Laborelec. Training Objectives The VILT course will cover the following: Detailed aspects of chemistry in a water steam cycle, including types of chemicals used in boilers depending on the treatment and type of boiler Potential issues in a water-steam cycle such as corrosion and deposition Monitoring & analytical programmes and knowledge of specifications for the water steam cycle (normal values targets - alarm levels) Chemistry aspects during transition periods: start-up, shutdown and preservation Actions to be taken in the event of an alarm Examples of incidents or deviations compared to normal chemistry Target Audience The VILT course is intended for: Power plant chemists Plant operation or maintenance engineers Consultants and technical project managers Boiler engineers Course Level Basic or Foundation Training Methods The VILT course will be delivered online in 2 half-day sessions comprising 4 hours per day, with 2 x 10 minutes break per day, including time for lectures, discussion, quizzes and short classroom exercises. In this regard, he specializes in electrochemistry and is in charge of different tests on batteries and their components within the ENGIE Batteries Lab.
