Bangladesh Youth and Cultural Shomiti (BYCS) is based in Highfields, Leicester with 2 venues, one on Biddulph Street and one on Myrtle Road. Our venue on Myrtle Road has an onsite crèche facility, with qualified staff members, for parents to use whilst they are studying. BYCS provide an array of information, advice and guidance, including National Careers Services (NCS) and Social Welfare Services. BYCS provides learning and employment services to help local residents and workers gain new skills and qualifications. The centre helps those out of work produce a CV, search and apply for jobs, develop their digital and employability skills and help find work. Our centre provides accredited qualifications from Entry 1 to GCSE’s and vocational qualifications, such as: Food Safety in Catering and Health and Safety in the Work Place. The Space to Breathe Collective is a wellbeing co-operative that aims to create a community of care and to carry on activities which foster collective wellbeing. Our co-operative strives to make yoga, meditation and wellbeing more accessible, inclusive and participatory. We are a not-for-profit co-operative and we are run collectively by our members. Fred is a keen traveller, long distant walker having completed the Te Araroa Trail in New Zealand in 2013/2014 and walked Lands End to John o’ Groats in the summer of 2015. Feeling better for spending time outdoors, Fred felt instinctively that this could be true for others and wanted to find a way to work therapeutically and safely with people outdoors. This led her to completing an MA in Person Centred and Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy, specialising in therapy outdoors.

2023 is a new beginning for VishwArt as there are many exciting things bubbling in the background.  I am Tina Gajjar, and I am the paper quilling artist behind the brand VishwArt. I began my journey as a paper artist in Summer 2017 not really knowing where I was headed, just knew that I enjoyed working with paper. I am a self-taught Quiling Artist and work on commissioned art pieces for the baby nurseries and one of a kind statement art masterpieces for the home. I haven't always been a Paper Artist. I used to work in Aerospace Operations as a Program Manager and Customer Service Manager. Life has a way of changing your path .. for the greater good. As soon as you become attuned to it .. it starts working in miraculous ways. Over the years, I have become fond of teaching this art of paper quilling and I frequently host quilling workshops I like to call Quill 'n' Chill locally and online. It is so satisfying to see the calmness that the students feel when they start quilling and when they are able to see what their simple act of curling paper has turned into .. often a beautiful piece of art.  Why not join me on one of these workshops and enjoy this mindfulness crafting with me.
