Shakespeare's Kids was established by Sharon McNally (BA Hons) in 2012 following her studies in both Literature and Language. The objective initially was to explore ways in which quality literature, in particular Shakespeare, could be made more appealing and approachable to young children. Shakespeare's Kids have managed to create a unique experience where children as young as five can not only enjoy the stories of Shakespeare's plays, but actually become immersed in the the experience of becoming a literary character through costume, props, film and musical theatre. Drama, dance, music, film and costume were combined to encourage the children to create, perform and direct their version of Shakespeare's most popular works as well as their own unique stage productions. To date the project has produced short films adaptations of: - Macbeth - A Midsummer Night's Dream - Romeo & Juliet And their own unique historical short films including - The Revenge of Emmy Tot, Scotlands First Female Pirate - The World of William Shakespeare - The Battle of Bannockburn Filming has taken place across a range of locations from local graveyards, to historical sites such as Stirling Castl. From stately homes such as Chatelherault House Hamilton and Bannockburn House Stirling to Colzium Estate Kilsyth. The children have also ventured into stage productions and musical theatre creating their own plays based on literature & film's most classic heroes and villains and most recently they tackled a full scale Broadway Musical, Aladdin.

Replico was founded in 1997 as a production facility to support Higher Still Drama, before branching out into wider lifelong learning contexts. Originally established for small-scale school tours, the company has since established a capacity for digital media production and commercial theatre. Our principal activity remains strategic support for schools, colleges and local authorities, through a wide range of workshops for pupils and students of all ages, training for staff, lecture demonstrations and bespoke resource materials. In recent years the company has developed an international profile, having taken part in study visits, conferences and research projects in Reggio Emilia, Milan and Venice and offering specialist support in classical theatre for summer schools in Ferrara. In Scotland, our work is currently focused on developing creativity across learning, primarily in the context of the Scottish Attainment Challenge with a strong emphasis on literacy. Artistic Director and Replico founder Joe Gallagher has over thirty years experience in theatre, TV and radio as an actor, director, producer and technician, but also works part time as a cultural coordinator for East Ayrshire Council, working closely with schools and senior education management staff, allowing a unique insight to arts education in Scotland.

He was the 2010 World Unequipped Powerlifting Champion.[1] Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he developed meningitis as an infant which severely affected his immune system and stunted his growth. As a result he was short and very underweight as a child. Rutherford began weight training after being bullied at school. In 1985, aged 15, and at a body weight of only 79 pounds (36 kg) he took up the sport of powerlifting. He competed as junior lifter until 1989. The 5 ft 6in personal trainer won 11 championship titles from 1986 to 1990 but then retired. In March 2007 he promised his nine-year-old son he would make an improbable comeback after watching the film Rocky Balboa, starring Sylvester Stallone, which was all about Rocky being older but making a ring comeback. In 2007 he achieved a silver medal at the European Powerlifting championships,[2] and then bronze at the 2009 World Championships. In 2010 he finally achieved his dream of becoming World Powerlifting Champion at the age of 41. He again won the World Championships for a 2nd time in November 2011. His Daughter Hayley Rutherford (15) and his son Ryan Rutherford(14) also won their respective divisions at the World Championships.
