Kick off the festive season by creating a gorgeous wreath with an array of seasonal florals. Our workshops are fun, immersive and relaxed and we provide all the materials and instruction to enable you to create a fabulous wreath. The evening provides an opportunity to check out a wonderful new neighbourhood venue along with the chance to plan a creative Christmas get together that will put you right into the Christmas spirit.

This talk will describe what is a brain injury, its impact in the medium and long-term, and review some of the research on what interventions are most effective to support good mental health. It will also share information about resources and services available to people living with a brain injury. The talk will be of interest to survivors of brain injury, their families, the general public, and health and social care professionals who would like to learn more about brain injury and mental health. · What is a brain injury · Problems people with brain injury might experience · How to help Dr Sara da Silva Ramos is Senior Research Fellow at Brainkind, a leading charity providing rehabilitation and support for people with brain injury. She is also a Visiting Researcher at the University of Surrey. Sara is a Chartered Psychologist who has worked in neuropsychology for most of her career. Her current research focuses on the outcomes of acquired brain injury rehabilitation and the use of technology to assess and support independent living skills. She is also interested in initiatives that promote the engagement of the public in science and research

Please bring along the manual and all the accessories that came with it including spare bobbins and the bobbin case if applicable. Don't worry if you don't have a sewing machine, as we have machines you can borrow. - Threads and a sewing kit (you can buy one from us if you want) - Notepad and pen The workshop is limited to 6 people per session. This workshop is suitable for adults and kids. What should I bring with me to the workshop? Bring your own sewing machine with it’s power cable if you are not borrowing from us. Come join me in the studio at West 16th SE21 where we will learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros. We will be chatting through peony varieties, how to get the most out of them and sharing lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again. The workshop will be held in the studio of West 16th, SE21 who will supply drinks and snacks included within the workshop price.

Drinks and treats from the West 16th kitchen will be served alongside the pumpkin vase tutorial and are included in the ticket cost.
