Staff also need to know how to improve communication between colleagues, individuals, other professionals, and contribute to service improvement.

Learners will also look briefly at Food Hygiene. This subject forms standard 8 in The Care Certificate.

This 3 Days programme will equip you to use, price, manage and evaluate interest rate and cross-currency derivatives. The course starts with the building blocks of money markets and futures, through yield curve building to interest-rate and cross-currency swaps, and applications. The approach is hands-on and learning is enhanced through many practical exercises covering hedging, valuation, and risk management. This course also includes sections on XVA, documentation and settlement. The programme includes extensive practical exercises using Excel spreadsheets for valuation and risk-management, which participants can take away for immediate implementation.

This workshop will explore artist-led practice in Edinburgh and feature an open discussion between Sierra Metro (Edinburgh) and Sett Studios (Edinburgh). Artist and researcher Chris Biddlecombe will also provide an overview of the key findings from the ‘Artist-Led Organisations in Scotland: Survey and Mapping of Activity’ research report which has been undertaken by Scottish Artists Union on behalf of Creative Scotland. About Sierra Metro is a gallery committed to artist-centred practice and our intention is to showcase and support emerging and mid-career visual artists and designers. We aim to engender a climate of flexibility and experimentation for everyone who exhibits with us, and offer broad public access to contemporary art experiences and discussions. I am a qualified and experienced Brazilian Portuguese teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. I teach Brazilian Portuguese for general purposes but also prepare students for GCSE, A-levels and CELPE-Bras. I have also been an exame conductor for many years in several schools across London.
