With hands-on help from Lucy, you will learn the basic principles and techniques of macram&eacute;, and will build your confidence making small keyring designs. Using 100% cotton rope and a selection of coloured twines, you will then create your hand-crafted hanger.&nbsp;
You can also bring along items you&#39;d like to incorporate into your design, such as beads, jewellery and found objects such as twigs to make it truly personal.Lucy will provide you with a&nbsp;helpful instruction manual to guide you through your project, which you can take home to remind you of the knots you learned.&nbsp;

Discover the magic of mosaic making&nbsp;with Jacky Cox of Mossy MosaicMosaicing fits in perfectly with our vision of a world where recycling, repurposing and upcycling is the norm. Jacky works with a variety of materials including glass, recycled crockery and natural materials like slate and sea glass, and finds the whole creative process from sourcing to creating absorbing, relaxing and mesmerising.&nbsp;On this 3 hour session, Jacky will help you create two mosaic items using methods you can do at home. You will begin by designing creating a grouted drinks coaster, and while this is drying, you will design a beautiful hanging heart using vitreous (&#39;swimming pool&#39;) tiles. Discover the magic of mosaic making with Jacky Cox of Mossy Mosaic

Learn to make colourful monotype prints without the need for a press. 
In this 3-hour private class, Lou Davis will take you through how to make a gelatin (vege-gel) printing plate which can be used to print beautiful and colourful works of art.&nbsp;We&rsquo;ll cover a number of techniques including using stencils and masks, adding texture with botanicals and found objects and using household items for mark making and using home-made foam stamps. Textures could be chosen to match the reason for the celebration.

This private class will get you and your friends into the party or festive spirit!&nbsp;On the festive-themed option, calligraphy artist, Panna Chauhan, will show you how to hand-decorate a set of 3 Christmas baubles which you will take home to hang with pride on your tree, or as the perfect, personalised gifts for family and friends.&nbsp;
In the first hour, you will learn the basics of the traditional calligraphy letter-making. Then you will practice on acetate to get an idea of what it will look and feel like on a bauble, so you&#39;ll have plenty of time to experiment and play with ideas.&nbsp;

How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. You have the option to add a classroom-based competency session, awarding a CPD Accredited Geopace Certificate of Competency, at time of booking.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your introductory course and one for your advanced course. Kits are included at no charge (normally £79.95 each) and are yours to keep and to continue to practice with after you have finished your courses. PART 1 (THEORY) - STUDY AT HOME ONLINE :
Complete your theory training online in the comfort of your own home or at work. Stop/start when it suits you and complete the online modules at your own pace. Can be completed on multiple devices such as laptop, smart-phone, desktop computer, kindle, tablet etc.
 
PART 2 (PRACTICAL SESSIONS) - JOIN US FOR A COMPREHENSIVE ONE DAY ZOOM SESSION:
Full instructions will be provided. We will send you a completely free Practise@Home Phlebotomy Training Kit, including a mini-arm trainer, for you to keep. You will follow your tutor's on-screen instructions during your Zoom virtual classroom sessions as you learn and develop your phlebotomy skills. The procedures and practices taught online are exactly the same as you would learn in the classroom. At any time before or after your course you can watch our 30 minute step-by-step video to refresh your knowledge and continue to use your training kit to practice your skills.
