The Self-compassion Community

the self-compassion community

London

I'm a former board level executive director who rose quickly ... and became burnt out, young. I am also a former voice artist - something which served me well when a life-changing injury occurred in 2006. I suffered a ‘hip replacement gone wrong’ which left me with major arterial internal bleeding and genuinely fighting for my life ... physically of course, and subsequently mentally too as the months of physical recovery and pain rolled into many years. I went from being a high-achieving, fast-paced, super capable person, to someone who needed to learn to walk again. That took its toll. And years of pain and effort. Cultivating self-compassion and mindfulness helped me find a way through. Sounds trite almost doesn't it? But it's powerfully, powerfully true. Catherine Kell Meaningful and adaptable teaching I have studied hard to do the work I do, to get all the necessary qualifications and registrations (more on those below). Yet what exams and qualifications alone can't give someone is the heart to do the work. That 'in the veins' pulse to help improve the life of another. And I believe my journey gives me the authenticity to bring compassion-based approaches meaningfully and wholeheartedly to others. I embody what I teach, and I bring kindness, sincerity, warmth, and of course compassion to every interaction. I'm friendly and lively too! I bring an adaptable pace and tone depending on the environment. I'm passionate about bringing the skills of self-compassion and mindfulness into people's lives to help them make transformations, build their resources and step into their full expression and power from a place of self-acceptance and inner strength. It's a privilege to witness the unfolding of all aspects of their good health. Qualifications and Education Catherine has had a personal mindfulness and meditation practice since 2006. She is a qualified and authorised Trained Teacher of the evidence-based and empirically-supported Mindful Self-Compassion programmes and trained through the globally renowned Center for Mindful Self-Compassion in their intensive MSC programme developed by self-compassion pioneers Kristin Neff PhD and Christopher Germer PhD. She is trauma-sensitive in all her work, undertaking ongoing CPD in the trauma field. She has an MA Degree with Honours and as well as her training as a Mindfulness Teacher she holds a Professional Certification in Clinical and Therapeutic Mindfulness for applied use in 1-to-1 session work. Additionally, Catherine is an alumni of Compassion Cultivation Training with the Compassion Institute, a scientifically-backed and evidence-based training programme developed at Stanford University, as well as various compassion, mindfulness, meditation and lovingkindness professional development programs with Tara Brach and Sharon Salzberg, both global leaders in compassion and mindfulness. Catherine is also a Trained Teacher with the Mindfulness in Schools Project, and has passionately brought her skillset to scores of teenagers and school staff as a teacher of kindfulness, gratitude practices and the MiSP evidence-based 10-week mindfulness curriculum developed specifically for pupils and staff in schools. Catherine is a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist (Dip.Cl.Hyp (Distinction), Cl.NLP, CNHC Reg., SICH HPD, MNCH(Reg.) and Paediatric Clinical Hypnotherapist (Dip.Hyp Paediatrics (Distinction). In her past work with children, Catherine had a particular interest in anxiety, panic attacks and sleep, helping children and adolescents from the age of around 7 to 18. Today, working with adults, Catherine uses hypnosis in a coaching capacity rather than a clinical one in order to help those working with her to cultivate self-compassion, boost life-satisfaction, uplevel and truly thrive. Previously, Catherine provided in-depth parenting support and empowerment services for whole families either in office from a local health centre, or via home visits. Catherine led specialist therapeutic support and learning sessions for mothers based around cultivating mindful self-compassion and strengthening the parent-child connection in parenting. Catherine is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator, holds a Diploma In Positive Parenting and is a graduate of the 'Parenting by Connection Professionals Programme' with Hand in Hand Parenting. Catherine draws all her rich experience into every interaction. She is passionate about guiding people in developing the capacity to be with themselves in the kindest and most supportive way. Self-compassion can truly transform lives. Catherine is an accomplished speaker and provider of workshops and talks. She has contributed as a mindfulness and self-compassion expert to many podcasts and a number of mental health books.

Jane Hamilton Pilates

Edinburgh,

Over the last 12 years, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed teaching Pilates to many people of all ages and abilities, and with varying muscle and joint problems, back issues and health conditions. I started my complementary healthcare training 19 years ago, qualifying in 2002 with a diploma from the London School of Sports Massage. I returned to my home city of Edinburgh that year, successfully building up a client base and running the complementary healthcare clinic Happy Being for 12 years in the west end, until 2020. Back in 2009, I decided to train as a Pilates teacher and qualified with a certificate in mat Pilates teaching Level 3 CYQ (Central YMCA Qualifications). This came from a desire to help my massage clients develop the tools to care for their own bodies rather than relying on regular massage treatments and doing their own exercises between sessions with varying results. The two disciplines successfully ran side by side, with many people coming to the clinic for both massage treatments and Pilates classes. In 2016 I developed my physiological and anatomical knowledge and practical skills further by achieving an advanced remedial massage diploma from the Scottish School of Sports Massage. I apply the knowledge I gained through this training to my Pilates teaching, drawing on a deeper understanding of the human body and how it works. I am constantly developing ideas, combining my vision with a structured modern approach. I’ve worked with many clients with varying levels of fitness and health conditions, from athletes to those with chronic fatigue syndrome CFS/ ME. I start with the 8 fundamental principles of the Pilates Method and the many Pilates movements to bring about new ideas. These are often from varying disciplines which I’ve studied and practised over the years such as Qigong, Tai Chi and even meditation with breath work. Many of the balance, warm-up stretches and cool-down movements in the classes are Qigong-based.

Edinburgh

One year ago today, we were not sure how we would be delivering educational experiences for our students. Two years ago, the situation was even worse as we were not sure whether we would be able to offer anything meaningful at all in person. The relative normality of this year’s first day of school brings reassurance and joy. So far it seems that everyone has grown over the summer, and our returners look more confident and poised than they did six weeks ago. No doubt they have many stories to share, much better in person than through the various social media platforms that they have been inhabiting. Our new S1 students are excited about starting this new phase in their lives. A few have had to ask for directions to classes, but good for them that they have the confidence to do so. They will bring much to the future of our school and in the blink of an eye they will be in S6 preparing for the next phase. Being Part of the Community The vast majority of our students are showing their pride in being part of the Broughton High School community by wearing school uniform and dress code. That is part of their contribution to their school, and is most welcome. I would emphasise that although school uniform is much less expensive than the designer clothing that teenagers might choose to wear, we are keen to support families who are struggling with the cost of clothing. The best way to access this is via our guidance team, through either a direct phone call or an email to school reception. Academic Success More detailed information will be forthcoming, but I am absolutely delighted to share that the attainment gained by our S4-S6 students last year was outstanding. Despite the many challenges that they had to face, they contributed to the best set of SQA results that the school has ever seen. Better than the exam-free years of 2020 and 2021. Better than any year since statistics have been recorded in the current format. This is particularly remarkable, given that the national pass rates have actually declined this year. This level of academic success is not just down to ability but comes as a result of many factors: hard work and resilience; support from parents and carers; and untiring high quality teaching and regard from staff are some. A massive well done from me and the whole school staff to those young people. Senior Staffing News We welcome Mrs Lisa Evans to our school senior leadership team. Mrs Evans has been a curriculum leader in another Edinburgh school for the past eight years, and was previously an English teacher at Broughton. I am delighted that Mrs Evans is back in the Broughton HS family and we look forward to great things. Recently we also welcomed Mr Steven Frew back to Broughton HS after a few years as a curriculum leader in East Lothian. Mr Frew joined us just before the end of the summer term in the role of Senior Development Officer. One of his key roles is to explore the diversity in our school community and make the most of the opportunities that this provides. This will be fascinating and will provide further impetus to cohesion and success in our school. Mr Frew was also previously with us as a Business Education teacher. It speaks volumes for Broughton HS that staff who have progressed in their career are keen to re-join us further down the line. I am pleased to inform you that Mrs Shona Wallace, Depute Headteacher, has been appointed on an acting basis to the Headship of Craigroyston Community High School. Mrs Wallace will work hard – as she always does – to support the community at Craigroyston. We wish her well, and look forward to her return in the latter part of the academic year. Finally, I would like to thank our parental community for the support you give to our school. We will keep trying together to make things as good as possible for our young people. Most of the time we get it right, and long may that continue. John J Wilson Headteacher *********** Broughton High School aspires to be a learning community known for its excellent learning and teaching. We maximise student achievement; provide support, welfare and inspiration. We are committed to continual improvement. Our students will be confident, successful and able to contribute effectively and responsibly to society. They should foster an interest in life long learning. We are a consistently improving organisation. Our core values are the same - respect, inclusion and integrity in all that we do. Tolerance and a willingness to learn about other cultures have been at the heart of Scottish education for centuries. By embracing the Scottish tradition and developing through a curriculum for excellence we hope to develop as truly global citizens. Broughton High School is developing as a centre of excellence in the wider community with our business partners and neighbours utilising the building during and beyond the school day. The development of partnership working is important to us and we actively pursue their development. In school, it goes without saying that we provide a secure and healthy environment, but we aim for much more. We aspire to personal excellence at all times. In every classroom, on the playing fields, through every note played in the Music School we aim for the highest standards. These can only be achieved if the whole school community works in partnership.

Michael Starkey

Edinburgh

I’m Michael Starkey. I’m an experienced music tutor offering lessons for 5 string banjo and acoustic guitar in Edinburgh, Scotland. These are for individuals and groups of all ages and abilities who maybe don’t know how to get started with their playing; feel stuck with where their playing is at; or are looking to hone their skills further by developing specific playing techniques. I help musicians (and aspiring musicians): Get their playing off the ground by learning the basic skills needed to begin making music Appreciate their existing skills and build on these by offering advice and ways to move forward with their playing Gain confidence making music with other people Develop techniques specific to old time clawhammer banjo playing, fingerpicking folk and country-blues acoustic guitar and acoustic guitar accompaniment for traditional folk music My reasons for teaching: I believe that music has had a very positive impact on my life. I started playing as a young teenager and have always been in bands and going out to gigs and sessions since. For me, it’s a good way to spend time with other people but also with myself. I find that when I’m playing, I’m less likely to be worrying about other things. A bit later on, I came across clawhammer banjo and old time stringband music and got obsessed. I found that there weren’t that many people to play with or learn from where I live so I decided to take up banjo teaching. I like to travel in the US, learn from musicians there, pickup new tricks and tunes and then bring them back over here to share. My experience: I am a full time musician, teacher (and gardener). I had my first guitar student when I was a teenager. I work with individual students from my home in Leith and also teach group classes for the Scots Music Group in Edinburgh. In recent years as a community gardener I have worked in therapeutic horticulture with people struggling with their mental health and with individuals with Autism. I’ve also worked as a tree planter. I play in a number of different bands, have toured and gigged across the UK and have made a number of recordings. I also co-host a weekly old time music session in Edinburgh. Check out my personal website – michaelstarkeymusic.com to see and hear my latest projects. Get in touch….. If you are interested in banjo and/or guitar lessons then I’d like to hear from you. Please use the contact form or have a look at the other pages on the site to find out more about banjo lessons or guitar lessons. There is also a page with some field recordings and more information about old time music. I’ll leave you with this clip of fiddle player Jeri Foreman and myself playing the old-time tune, Five Miles of Ellum Wood.

Shamanic 1-1: healing/ikigai/divination/mentoring/meditation

4.9(30)

By School of Shamanism

Sessions can happen ONLINE or IN PERSON. Please read below to choose the session that is more appropriate for you (you'll be asked to select one in the booking process) If you have questions please drop me an email info@schoolofshamanism.co.uk Don't worry if you do not know what to select, just come and I'll be happy to help you:-) Shamanism is probably the oldest way to see through our hearts and not our eyes to connect with the nature of our creation. It allows us to go behind and beyond the surface of things, to understand why and how certain situations occur in our lives. Shamanism is a spiritual practice that goes beyond every beliefs and culture and is about trying to reach our full potential as we walk on planet earth, so connecting ourselves to the whole. Shamans were described as the first physicians, magicians, artists, storytellers, spiritual beings. But shamans are healers that make changes in invisible realms to help healing in the ordinary reality of the community. Shamans see in the darkness (which is the meaning of the Siberian word “Shaman”) while connecting with the divine outside the time in an altered state of consciousness. We can work together using different methods: A) Shamanic healing We can work together to solve one of these imbalances in your life, where you feel: lost and without life purpose, unhappy and unsatisfied, anxious and worried, overwhelmed and stressed, without energy and hope, uncertain about your future, stuck in repetitive dynamics, unable to manifest abundance, incapable of making decisions, not aligned with your heart, disconnected from the universe, impatient and impulsive, not focused and balanced, with low esteem and more? B) Ikigai coaching to find your soul mission through shamanic work Ikigai is the manifestation, the realization of who you are. It has always been with you, it is your reason for being. Some people are lucky to find a job that corresponds to their true passion. They earn a living doing what they love. But there are a lot of people that do not have such a privilege or can’t find the courage for such a big change. The Japanese people from the island of Okinawa have a word for you: Ikigai. It’s your “reason for being”, where you combine what you love with what you are good. Ikigai is 'what makes you happy to get out of bed in the morning' and is formed by the union of two words: iki which means 'life' and gai that is 'what is worthwhile' which the ancients called “happiness”, your soul mission. Our session together will be a deep inner journey, suitable for those who already know their life mission and those who have no clue at all about it or just are not aware how to combine their gifts and skills. You will reconnect with your inner voice and true skills to realize your true life mission. C) Shamanic divination is a powerful practice rooted in the traditions of indigenous cultures worldwide. It involves using sacred tools like bones, stones, eggs, sticks, shells, beads and more to access wisdom from the past and present. These tools reveal patterns, offering guidance on life’s journey. Whether you seek clarity or understanding, the practice connects you with the cosmic web of life. Explore this ancient path to deeper insights with us. There are several options in which I can offer you a reading: Eggs:Egg ‘Limpia’: A Shamanic cleansing ritual and a tool for DivinationThe egg is a powerful tool in shamanic healing, used for ‘Limpia’ (meaning 'cleansing') to remove misplaced energy. As the egg sweeps over the aura and body, it absorbs negative energy, leaving you feeling lighter and rejuvenated. After the cleanse, we interpret the egg in water to gain insights into your emotional, physical, and spiritual state. This sacred ritual, passed down from indigenous healers, helps restore balance and harmony Stones you will need to bring(have with you) 3 medium/big stones with some marks on them and we will then choose 1 and I will guide you through the full process to find the answer to a burning question. My personal reading tools (shells and pebbles) Together in the session we can also find your 9 Power Animals. Everyone has nine power or totem animals that emulate each person’s abilities, talents and challenges. For example if a person is connected to Wolf as a power animal, that person is a born teacher, pathfinder, innovator. This does not mean that the person has acknowledged the gifts. The 9 animals are one for each of Direction (4 plus above, below, within) and two animals that walk aside you each time and that maybe have come to you in dreams for years or that you are simply drawn to. Through the use of cards, while connecting to my Spirit Allies, I will find out which animals are your main guides into your life. D) Spiritual Mentoring I am happy to help you with any questions you have about spirituality, about your personal journey, about any doubts you may have about the next steps to take in life. you will also receive your full essence and symbol from me though "soul remembrance : I will undertake a shamanic journey for you to retrieve the essence of your gifts and talents and a symbol to be blown into your solar plexus. E) Meditation Struggling with your practice or even to sit down quietly for more than 10 minutes? Meditation is simply the creation of a nice space, it’s not achieving exctasy, it’s slowing down and doing something with mindfulness.  It is familiarizing with knowledge and bring it to practice. Meditation on a concept is not reflecting on something, it’s to feel it deeply- First you learn how to meditate, then you use it as one of the most precious tools of change. So 1) we learn 2) we understand 3) we familiarize…...and we change! These sessions are designed for your bespoke challenges and needings, for those that feel the urge to quiet the mind and find focus and concentration in their daily life. There is no labelling about the style of these classes, no schools imprinting. My approach is creative and flows according to what my intuition suggests the student would benefit for. We will discuss your available dates if you feel starting a journey and we can work out a suitable package that follows your requirements. Beginners and experienced welcome. BECOME A SPIRITUAL WARRIOR MENTOR

4.9(30)

By School of Shamanism

BECOME A SPIRITUAL WARRIOR MENTOR  A journey through Japanese shamanism and philosophy in 13 modules during 3 full week-ends, available online and in person, to become a Spiritual Warrior Mentor and learn practical shamanic practices to use in your sessions and group work.  This will require the completion of some case studies and homeworks.  It gives you the opportunity to add a job qualification to your holistic experience that can be used in individual sessions or group events. We are a globally certified IPHM training provider (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine). MODULES 1) Loving your imperfection through Wabi Sabi: accept the impermanence of things and recognise the beauty of imperfection, learning to flow like a river. In this module you will learn not to attach yourself to a theory, to a knowledge, but learn how to become flexible in order to be powerful and solve any life problem. 2) Embrace your wish to change through Kaizen: Kaizen is an approach to creating continuous improvement based on the idea that small, ongoing positive changes can reap significant improvements compared to radical changes to achieve transformation. In this module you will learn how to master the art of creating habits. 3) Face life challenges and storm through Hanafubuki: through 'the cherry blossom storm' we have the magical moment when the sakuras begin to fall, creating a delicate blizzard of petals. This concept of ephemeral beauty is a metaphor for human life, rich and beautiful but also fragile and fleeting. In this module you will learn how to remain calm to make the best decisions. 4) Express your own emotions and welcome those of others through Omoiyari: Omoiyari is commonly translated to empathy, but it actually has a deeper meaning; it literally means to give your thoughts to others. In this module you will learn how to release your own emotions and develop empathy and compassion for others. 5) Repair your own soul wounds through Kintsugi: Kintsugi is the art of mending broken objects with gold, it is the art of treasuring your wounds by repairing them with the gold of pure aesthetic experience. The wounds of our lives are seen through the eyes of the soul, which receives and heals them with the gold of death,of rebirth and freedom. In this module you will learn to perform a rite of passage after which nothing will be the same as before. 6) Master the art of patience through Nintai: Nintai is the power of enduring without complaint, without looking for quick results. It means sticking to your path, trusting the process, to your beliefs. In this module you will learn to never give up, to wait for the right time for things to happen. 7) How gratitude changes you and your brain through Itadakimasu: this word means “I humbly receive” and relates to the traditional way of showing gratitude by elevating above one’s head the gift received. Through time, itadakimasu became the expression showing appreciation for the food received. In this module you will learn the benefits of gratitude on your mental health. 8) Learn to become grounded through Shinrin-Yoku: Immersion in nature has scientifically proven therapeutic effects: it can reduce stress hormone concentrations in the body, strengthen the immune system, regulate blood pressure and heart rate, and lower cholesterol. Shinrin-Yoku is an adventure of deep communion with nature. In this module you will learn how to ground yourself. 9) Develop the best version of you through Hanasaki: this is the blossom of a flower. You will use this word for blossoming the best version of yourself. No matter who you are, where you come from, what your path has been so far, in this module you will learn to aspire to a better version of yourself. 10) Less is more: learn to declutter and simplify your life through Danshari: There’s a new movement rising around the world. Perhaps you’ve heard of it: Danshari. It means “refusal, disposal and separation” You can simply translate it as cleaning or tidying up, but this word means more than this. In this module you will learn to abandon attachment to objects and make a better use of them. 11)Connect with your soul mission through Ikigai: ikigai is that thing that gives our existence a marvellous intensity, it is what gives meaning to life or, as the French would say, its raison d’etre. There is a fire inside us: it can burn with more force, it can weaken, but then it can come back stronger than ever. Ikigai cannot be a simple mental vision, as it is wider, deeper and absolute than the thinking mind. You can only live it, and only by living it can you know it. In this module you will learn the first steps to move nearer to your soul mission. 12)Accept your own shadows, feeling a part of the universe through Yugen: Beauty is Darkness. Shadows are what allow the visible to emerge. The whole world and ourselves are a constant duality: we wake up and go to bed, the sun rises and goes down, we feel on top of the world and we feel stressed, we move in and out, we feel active and we feel lazy and so on. It’s the natural flow of the universe, nothing lasts in the same status forever. In this module you will learn to keep this duality between inner light and darkness stable and to reach the perfect moment. 13)Accept the impermanence of life through mono no aware: ‘this is the deep feeling or pathos of things, the powerful emotions that objects can evoke or instil in us. It is often associated with a poignant feeling of transience, a beautiful sadness in the passing of lives and objects, like the glorious colour of autumn leaves as they are about to fall. In this module you will learn how to let go of our attachments to transient things. Through this certified course you will learn these for yourself and to help others in their transformation if you are an holistic therapist: ● to become grounded and calm ● to create fundamental daily habits ● to have the right approach to solve any life challenge and storm ● how to flow with life ● to express your emotions and develop compassion ● to repair your own wounds ● to practise patience and gratitude ● to become a better version of yourself ● to be nearer to meet your soul mission You can choose: Online (either live or receiving the recordings)  or at the Art and Spirituality Centre 6-8 Alexander Drive EH11 2RH Edinburgh First week-end 22nd-23rd February 2025 10am-5pm Saturday Modules 1,2 (Wabi sabi, Kaizen) Sunday Modules 3,4 (Hanafubuki, Omoyari) Second week-end 15th-16th March 2025 10am-5pm Saturday Modules 5,6 (Kintsugi, Nintai) Sunday Modules 7,8, 9 (Itadakimasu, Shinrin-Yoku, Hanasaki) Third week-end 14th-15th June 2025 10am-5pm Saturday Modules 10,11 (Danshari, Ikigai) Sunday Modules 12,13 (Yugen, Mono No Aware) If you are not available to attend, you can catch up with the recordings and do your homeworks in order to qualify. Cacao Ceremony and Vegan Chocolate Cake Cooking Class Step into a heart-centered experience with our Cacao Ceremony and Vegan Chocolate Cake Cooking Class. We begin with a traditional cacao ceremony, run by Giada, Shamanic Teacher, founder of Art and Spirituality and School of Shamanism. This is an ancient ritual that uses pure ceremonial-grade cacao to foster connection, mindfulness, and self-reflection. In a peaceful and sacred space, you'll be guided through a journey of meditation, gratitude, and intention-setting, allowing the cacao to open your heart and deepen your inner awareness. Following the ceremony, we will move a fun and interactive vegan chocolate cake cooking class run by Gloria, Founder of Madebyflour. Using wholesome, plant-based ingredients, you'll learn how to create a rich and decadent chocolate cake that’s both delicious and healthy. Our simple, step-by-step approach ensures you’ll be able to recreate this indulgent treat. This class offers a perfect blend of spiritual nourishment and culinary creativity. Please add a note in your booking if you have any dietary requirement or allergy. The lessons are suitable for all levels of experience and materials are provided. The only medical contraindications are mixing Ceremonial Cacao with antidepressants, anti-psychotics, suffering from heart conditions, low blood pressure or serious illness. If you are on any anti-depressants, antipsychotics or any medication for mental health please get in touch with me. Ceremonial Cacao can cause serious interactions. Please arrive with an empty stomach - no food for 2/3 hours prior to the ceremony. Some light fruit is fine. Please avoid caffeine, alcohol, dairy, red meat for 24 hours before and after - they do not mix well with Cacao. Keep well hydrated by drinking plenty of water. If you smoke, please try to reduce as much as possible, especially if it is not pure tobacco due to the chemicals as cacao is a strong stimulant & detoxifier. If you want to get the very best out of the ceremony and support your integration, it is recommended to continue this diet for 48-72 hours before and after.  By attending this class you release Giada Gaslini, Gloria Civillini and Art and Spirituality Cic, from any liability arising out of any personal injuries, emotional or physical release, death, physical reaction, expectations of results, theft in the venue or damages that may happen to people and objects while attending. 2nd March FREE-FIND YOUR IKIGAI: PAINT YOUR MANDALA OF PURPOSE

5.0(43)

By Art and Spirituality CIC

Ikigai is that thing that gives our existence a marvellous intensity, what gives meaning to life, or, as the French would say, its raison d’être. There is a fire inside us—it can burn brightly, weaken, and then reignite stronger than ever. Ikigai cannot simply be a mental concept; it is wider, deeper, and more absolute than the thinking mind. It is something to be lived, and only by living it can you truly know it. Living your Ikigai brings joy, satisfaction, and a profound sense of fulfillment. This ancient concept originates from the island of Okinawa, where iki means "life" and gai means "what is worthwhile," often described as “happiness” or your soul's mission. In this creative workshop, we will not rely on theories but instead embark on revelatory experiences designed to help you discover your Ikigai, which is, we have to say, a long journey. Through reflective exercises and hands-on creativity, you’ll paint your own Mandala of Purpose—a visual representation of what makes life meaningful for you. Join us to explore what is your soul mission. No prior art experience is needed—just an open heart and a desire to connect with your true self. Spaces are limited. Reserve your spot now and begin your journey to purpose, fulfillment, and living your Ikigai! This class is sponsored by Evoc. It is FREE and is aimed at WOMEN only from ETHNIC MINORITY BACKGROUNDS living in Edinburgh as per this funding application . This means “international”, from every foreign country. (Irish, any other white background, mixed ethnic, Asian/Asian British, Black/African/Caribbean, Black British, Arabic or other ethic groups) However we do welcome locals too so just sign up. We prioritize the area of Gorgie-Dalry-Saughton where our studio is based.  By attending this class you release the teacher, Giada Gaslini and Art and Spirituality Cic, from any liability arising out of any personal injuries, emotional or physical release, death, expectations of results, theft in the venue or damages that may happen to people and objects while attending.
