About this event A two hour sitting after which you will receive the completed portrait in oils on canvas or pencil on paper. The better you sit still the better the portrait. If you are buying this as a present for someone make sure they are aware of this. If you are not happy with the portrait you will receive a refund. Sometimes extra time may need to be spent on the portrait after the session. The completed portrait will be wet if in oils so will have to be transported carefully or can be left at the studio and picked up in a few days so it is easier to transport. Gel Polish treatments are an increasingly popular treatment within the professional beauty industry. Gel Polish is applied to the client’s nail and then cured using an LED or UV lamp to create a longer lasting nail treatment (up to 3 weeks) than a standard manicure. Not only does this treatment keep clients happy due to its long-lasting effects, clients will need to return to the salon to have the gel polish removed, guaranteeing you repeat bookings. On completion of the course you will receive a certificate and a recognised, insurable qualification. All tools/products required for the course will be provided on the day. No take home kit included on this course.  Includes: Hard copy take home training manual. Duration – Fast track half day practical classroom-based training plus online theory work. Theory work to be completed in your own time via The Guild student portal before your practical course date. Practical day – 3pm – 6pm. It is advisable that students arrive 15 mins early to ensure a prompt start. Qualification - GTi award. Our training for young people is fun, engaging and focuses on fundamental life saving skills.  All courses can be delivered at our training centre in Poole, Dorset or we can deliver on-site across Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset, Hampshire and the South of England.
