Welcome to Warwickshire Dance Academy or WDA as it is known. WDA was established in 2003 and we have classes in Knowle, Stratford upon Avon, Bidford on Avon and Hatton, teaching over 300 pupils each week. WDA’s aim is to make the lessons a fun form of exercise and beneficial in many ways including the development of coordination, rhythm, fitness, muscle tone, expression and confidence. Students can participate in dance examinations, but it’s not compulsory - to date WDA has a 100% examination success rate. As well as taking exams, your child will also have the opportunity to enter competitions, Festivals and participate in local shows. We also give all our students the opportunity to dance in various West End Theatres and to dance in the heart of Disneyland Paris amongst all the magic that is Disney. We offer all styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Street, Cheerleading, Festival, Acro and Technique & Strength.

Mentoring & advice We understand that making decisions about education and careers can be difficult and stressful. That’s why we’re always happy to offer students advice– especially those studying GCSE and A-Levels — to help them navigate subject and career options. Bespoke syllabus Like private schools, we have dedicated Subject Coordinators building our bespoke syllabus (fully aligned to the National Curriculum and major exam boards like AQA, OCR and Edexcel). This central control allows us to plan lessons for the entire year and cover everything students need to learn for exams. Assessment every 6 weeks After 5 weeks of learning a particular set of topics, students are tested on week 6 to assess how much they’ve learnt. The results show us where the student is successful, but also gives us an idea of where there is room for improvement so that we can reinforce those topics. Homework for every lesson Every student receives approximately 30 minutes worth of homework for each hour of tuition. We find it’s a good amount of work that will keep their brains stimulated outside of school & tuition, without being too stressful. Parent conferences Want regular updates about how your child is progressing? Every 12 weeks we organise a parent conference, allowing parents to catch up with tutors and ask any questions. Qualified & experienced tutors We only use UK qualified and experienced tutors that are either active/experienced school teachers, or industry professionals like trainee doctors, dentists and engineers that are currently working in their respective fields. Small classes Schools can overcrowd classrooms with 25-30 children at one go, making it difficult to give them individual attention. Our centre maintains an average of 6-8 students per class so that everyone gets the support they need to succeed.

I started out having violin and dance lessons, and then when I hit my teenage years I became increasingly fascinated by the vocal instrument. I really wanted to sing! So I did. Many years of practice, plus endless good (and not-so-good) live performance experiences, have all shaped me into a well-rounded and resilient musician. It brings me proudly to this point today where I can call myself a full-time professional singer, voice tutor and eternal music student!

Delta One Canines was established in 1999 when I retired from the Police Force.  Twenty one  of those thirty years was spent as a dog handler and dog training instructor. The aims of the business are the same now as they were then, to provide dog training and behaviourial advice to pet owners that is effective, acceptable and affordable. The business has grown over the last twenty five years and now includes two associate instructors.  Potential clients of the business can be assured by our membership of bona fide professional organisations. I have been a full member of British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers since the mid 1980s and an Honorary Life Member  of Canine Behaviour & Training Society (Formerly U.K. Registry of Canine Behaviourists) since 2010. My associate trainers are also  members of B.I.P.D.T.. On-going staff training has included courses in Canine First Aid and dog law. We deliver Responsible Dog Ownership Courses which were developed by ourselves at the request of and in association with  West Midlands Police. We pride ourselves on delivering a personal service to all clients. All our training lessons are delivered on a “One to one”  basis so that owner and dog can progress at their own pace without distractions.  Behaviourial consultations are delivered at the owners home. The consultations deal with matters such as aggression, separation anxiety, dominance and other subjects that are beyond the scope of a regular training lesson. Owners are given a behaviour modification program to address the cause of the dogs unwanted behaviour.

ABOUT WAVERLEY EQUESTRIAN TRAINING CENTRE Originally founded in the grounds of Stoneleigh Abbey WEC moved firstly to Cubbington, near Leamington Spa, and is now based at The 3B's (Bubbenhall Bridge Barn).   We are very proud of the large selection of stunning horses who form part of The 3Bs family.   They are trained in a variety of equestrian disciplines including Cross-country jumping, Cavalry Drills, Eventing Clinics, Team Chases, Hunter Trials, Trekking and Riding to Hounds.  Polo lessons, chukkas and tournaments are available at the nearby Offchurch Bury Polo club and also we can organise outings to Knights of Middle England for instruction in riding Side-saddle, jousting, horse archery and trick riding.   We can tailor our events to suit the needs of our clients, however our horses are not suitable for beginner riders or children under 12. The 3Bs is approximately two hours from Gatwick Airport, one hour and 20 minutes from Heathrow and only half an hour from Birmingham International Airport.  Trains  from London Euston to Coventry, or from Marylebone to Leamington Spa, take just over an hour.   We are happy to meet our guests from either station and from Birmingham Airport. Our Accommodation is all en-suite with family-style dining and a congenial atmosphere with just a hint of magic! For the non-riders, or non-riding hours, we are a short distance from Stratford-upon-Avon, the castles of Warwick and Kenilworth, and there are no less than 5 excellent golf-courses within 10 minutes from the barn. Michael and Diana Jack, Waverley's proprietors, have a tennis court, swimming pool and croquet lawn at their nearby home in the grounds of Stoneleigh Abbey and often invite their guests to join them for an afternoon or evening of activities in their lovely garden. Waverley has its own breeding programme and regularly has young foals and young horses needing attention.
