Join us this summer to celebrate 250th anniversary of the birth of Jane Austen with this brand new webinar series from the Historical Association. We will explore the work and influence of the famous novelist to illuminate our understanding of the Georgian era and the society that Austen brought to life. This course meets and exceeds the Maryland requirement for the security officer course of 12 hours. The course is taught over 2 days, 6 hours per day. In this course, you will learn the required curriculum for security officers prescribed by the Maryland Police and Corrections Training Commission.

This is an International Driver CPC - 7hours course - Rules of the Road & Customer Service and it is suitable for LGV & PCV and will cover: Requirements, Speed Limits, SMART Motorways, Highway Code, Road Signs, Bridge Strikes, Mobile Phones, Sat-Navs, Traffic Accident Procedures, Company & Driver Image, Who Customers Are and What They Want, Communication Skills, Giving Good Customer Service. This course is intended to the most ambitious modellers in the property industry who would like to be fully proficient in building complex real estate models.

In January 2024 alone, reports were published about the SRA taking enforcement action against 3 firms and 4 individuals for failure to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. The fines issued for these non-compliances total over £570,000 plus costs. The absence of staff training, or requirement to complete additional training, was noted in a number of these cases. Many of the breaches resulting in enforcement action involved failures by the fee earners to conduct appropriate due diligence, adequately check the source of funds and/or wealth or recognise and report red flags. As highlighted by enforcement action being taken against individuals as well as firms, fee earners cannot hide behind their firm when AML failures occur and may be held personally accountable by the SRA for non-compliances with the MLR 2017.
