This package which will allow you to become a fully qualified domestic installer and enable you to join a Competent Person Self-Certification Scheme and certify your own domestic work.

This qualification is for tutors, trainers, or assessors, who are new into their role and looking for development of teaching, training and assessment skills. The qualification is made up of a range of units which can be adapted to any learning and development role, so, whether you are working with groups or individuals; delivering training in classrooms, in the workplace or online; planning training sessions or developing resources, units can be combined to suit your role and career objectives. This qualification is an expansion of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification; it also contains the Assessor units for anyone looking to become a qualified assessor. This qualification is delivered though monthly workshops and mentoring visits from our Learning Advisor, who will support and advise you to develop your knowledge and skills in learning and development. You will also carry out self study and develop training sessions and materials. The course takes between 9-15 months to complete. The NVQ Level 3 is designed to provide both new entrants and those seeking progression in their career, with the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to carry out job roles and responsibilities associated with the installation and maintenance of Electrotechnical systems. The EWR is for electricians who have been working in the industry for at least 5 years but have not formally completed an industry apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ qualification. Successful completion of the NVQ and AM2 assessment will satisfy the entry criteria for JIB accredited Gold Card status. Bear in mind that the C&G 2391-50 and 18th Edition courses are pre-requisites to the Experienced Worker route. Confined Space Risk Management and Permits - This course includes a basic level of confined space knowledge with the opportunity to use confined space equipment in a simulated environment and a team exercise of creating and reviewing a safe system of work. The aim of the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Wood Occupations (Construction) qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence of individuals who specialise in a wood based occupation in the construction industry eligible for the Gold CSCS Card. Upon completion of the qualification, you will be awarded the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Wood Occupations. The qualification modules will be discussed and agreed upon with each individual candidate to ensure that the qualification will be suited to your job role. Each candidate will be allocated a designated and qualified assessor to provide support throughout the qualification and provide information, advice and guidance to candidates in order that they can achieve the qualification.
