Alumni Europae ASBL is the association for former students of the European Schools. We believe there is a unique and invaluable connection amongst us that crosses all kinds of social, linguistic and national boundaries. The association was launched at the end of 2011 and has shown great signs of success over these few years of existence. Alumni Europae wants to unite and reunite former students, as well as parents, teachers and staff from all European Schools, by putting like-minded people in touch on a social and professional level. AE gives you an opportunity to research university and career options, to develop your future based on our members' broad experiences, and keep in touch with people you have shared so much with over the years, not to mention forge new friendships with other alumni from across the world. Once you have registered, you will have access to an archive of members' university experiences, career guidance and a permanent network of information and support. Alumni Europae plans to organize regular events; alumni reunions as well as events supporting the European ideals the Schools were founded upon. We feel this is especially important in a time in which Europe is suffering from an identity crisis in the midst of economic difficulties. The idea of an alumni association for former students of the European Schools is one that has been approached a number of times. Here is a brief history of the associations and what it has become today. 2013 - Alumni Europae ASBL merges with Euresco Euresco, the domain names and all of its activities are transferred to Alumni Europae. 2011 - Creation of Alumni Europae ASBL A new association of former students registered in Belgian Law. They rebuilt connections with schools and have built the organisation you see today. 2003 - The birth of a new community: euresco.org A small team of former pupils led by Nicolas Beffort (Bac 85 FR Woluwé) refused to resign, and decided to give a new birth to the project. They bought the Euresco database and euresco.org domain-name and paid all the debts of the former-organization to start on a new basis. 2001 - End of Euresco as an international organization By the end of 2001, Euresco was virtually bankrupt. The dissolution was effective on December 31st, 2001, and has been published in the Belgian Official Journal (Moniteur belge) on April 11, 2002 1996 - Lack of institutional support In 1996, the European Commission, that supported the launch of the organization from the beginning, could not help Euresco anymore. 1992 - Launch of Euresco Between 1992 and 1996, Euresco published three issues of its Euresco-Book, reaching more than 8,000 former pupils and teachers worldwide. Eight issues of the newsletter (Euresco-News) were also published under the successive Presidencies of François Wathelet, Eberhard Bömcke and Eric Everard.

“The best undergraduate department of art history in the country”: This is how New York Times art critic John Russell once described the Art History program at NYU. The Department was established to provide a rigorous and wide-ranging education in the many facets of the history and theory of art, a mission that its faculty continues to enthusiastically embrace. Students become familiar with global art from antiquity to the present. The Department offers courses in Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Modern, Contemporary, East Asian, South Asian, Islamic, Latin American, African, Oceanic, Pre-Columbian, and Native American art, treating not only painting, sculpture, architecture, and photography but also graphic media, manuscript illumination, the decorative arts, and aspects of urban design. The Department is one of the few undergraduate programs in the country that also features extensive offerings in conservation and museology. The myriad museums, galleries, and local architectural sites make New York City the ideal place in which to study the visual arts on site, in the flesh. Beyond New York, art history courses are offered at the university’s various abroad sites, such as Berlin, Buenos Aires, Florence, London, Madrid, Paris, and Prague. The Department offers two undergraduate majors and minors, one in Art History and another in Urban Design and Architecture Studies (URDS). The specific course requirements are outlined in detail on the Department’s website. Since an education in the history of art can be enhanced by a firsthand understanding of its making, Art History majors also are allowed to minor in Studio Art through courses offered in the Steinhardt School. The Department publishes its own student journal (Ink & Image) and has an honors program, which culminates in the writing and oral defense of an honors thesis during the student’s senior year. Art History graduates have proven exceptionally successful in securing positions in museums, commercial galleries, auction houses, and nonprofit organizations. Those who go on to undertake graduate study typically pursue careers as curators, conservators, and academic art historians at the university and college level. Students majoring in URDS are well prepared for graduate study in architecture, urban planning, and historic preservation. Welcome to Warwickshire Dance Academy or WDA as it is known. WDA was established in 2003 and we have classes in Knowle, Stratford upon Avon, Bidford on Avon and Hatton, teaching over 300 pupils each week. WDA’s aim is to make the lessons a fun form of exercise and beneficial in many ways including the development of coordination, rhythm, fitness, muscle tone, expression and confidence. Students can participate in dance examinations, but it’s not compulsory - to date WDA has a 100% examination success rate. As well as taking exams, your child will also have the opportunity to enter competitions, Festivals and participate in local shows. We also give all our students the opportunity to dance in various West End Theatres and to dance in the heart of Disneyland Paris amongst all the magic that is Disney. We offer all styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Street, Cheerleading, Festival, Acro and Technique & Strength.
