This 2 - 2-5 hour course is designed is designed to provide parents and carers with the opportunity to: Develop the basic skills and knowledge needed to deal with a wide range of emergency paediatric First Aid situations, which could arise when looking after babies and children. The course can take place in in a community group or in the comfort of your home, with family and friends who maybe caring for your child or they may have children of their own. The course can be booked during the week, week nights or weekends, with or without children present. The idea is to bring the skills and knowledge to you, in your normal routine.

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification has been designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is ideal for: • Those who have gained a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with the EYFS requirements. • Anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, grandparents

The Paediatric First aid course provides the comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in childcare settings. Giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies and common childhood illnesses. It meets the standards required to help comply with Ofsted regulations.

EPFA and EFAW combined course

This NEW course combines the QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) with QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) giving you 2 courses in one. Instead of 12 hours to gain 2 qualifications it is combined into 1 extended day (7 hrs approx) This is the ideal course those working with children and adults in any environment eg: Sports clubs, community groups, Schools Individuals can book at £102.00 per person on an 'Open' course at our training Centre in Newtownards.
