An Introduction course is a great way to learn about the amazing craft of blacksmithing. The course will teach you the basics of forging and making decorative work for your home, and you will have something you have made to take home with you and enjoy.  On the course we will make a number of small items, including hooks, key rings, pendants, candle holders and others based on time available. This course is open for 12-17 year olds and will be taught on a one-to-one basis allowing the student to fully immerse themselves in the craft. Parent or guardian MUST attend and may join in the course for a fee. Courses are £200 per day A second student or the parent/guardian can be join the course for £100  I run a strict cancellation policy. If you cannot attend the date you have booked please contact me within three weeks and I will rebook your course for free, If you contact me after this deadline you will lose your place. The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Stone Therapy Massage is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a stone therapy massage specialist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as a stone therapy massage specialist, as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in beauty or complementary therapy and/or a successful skills test and interview. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a stone therapy massage specialist including, three mandatory units covering the following: applying stone massage therapy, health and safety and client care. Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and massage products. You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to prepare the body, use a stone heater and place stones and provide relaxing massage treatments using basalt stones and a variety of techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

Basic Course 1 Day- Tyre Removal, Tyre Fitting, Tyre Replacement, Wheel Balancing, Tyre Repair (plus a little tyre knowledge) It is mainly a day covering the practical elements.

Learn how to test portable electrical appliances with a qualification in Electrical Equipment Maintenance and Testing. Aimed at practicing electricians this qualification will help and progress individuals within the Electrotechnical industry. This qualification is aimed at those with responsibilities for the maintenance of electrical equipment and for those undertaking practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment. It allows those with the responsibility for the testing and inspection of electrical equipment to gain a qualification suitable to their job role. The qualification allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required to inspect and test items of electrical equipment in line with the latest edition of the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. If you already work as an electrician it will add another string to your bow and can help you move up in the industry. Learners completing the qualification will have the ability to carry out mandatory responsibilities within the workplace depending on their prior electrical knowledge This level will suit you if you are a practising electrician either involved in, or looking to become involved in, the inspection and testing of electrical equipment. To successfully complete the qualification learners will have to sit an Evolve on-line test comprising of a 50 MCQ and a practical assignment. The practical consists of 3 tasks which are: Task 1 is inspect and test Class I equipment, Task 2 is inspect and test Class II equipment (this will be either unearthed metal or without unearthed metal or Class II FE – Learners will not need to do all 3 of these, they only need to do one type), Task 3 is completing the record forms
