The VTCT Skills Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments is a course that has been specifically designed to develop your practical beauty therapy skills such as; face and body electrotherapy and body massage. To further enhance your practical skills you will have the opportunity to choose from the following practical units; providing massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils, electrical epilation, individual permanent lashes, intimate waxing, spray tan and how to apply self-tan products, and nail enhancements. Within this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety, client care and communication and you can also choose to learn about IT and data handling and contributing to the effective running of a beauty therapy business. You will also develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification. The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills as a beauty therapist to enable you to provide beauty therapy treatments.

The primary outcome of the VTCT Skills Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Massage is to confirm your competence in the job role of beauty massage therapist. All the units in this qualification relate directly to the specific job role of a beauty massage therapist. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a beauty massage therapist including, mandatory units covering the following: body massage, Indian head massage, and massage with pre-blended oils, stone therapy, monitoring procedures in the salon and contributing to the planning of a promotional event.

Our VTCT Beauty Therapy Course Level 2 is the foundation to start your beauty career, once completed you can then advance to our VTCT Beauty Therapy Course level 3. This qualification will provide you with the requisite knowledge, understanding and skills to work competently as a beauty therapist. Throughout this qualification you will learn your responsibility and knowledge to reduce any risks to health and safety, promote additional services or products to clients, develop and maintain your effectiveness at work, provide facial skincare treatment, enhance the appearance of eyebrows and lashes, carry out waxing services and provide pedicure and manicure services.
