Spend two lovely days at our alpaca farm designing and making your own completely unique hand woven scarf. Working on a Rigid Heddle loom you will choose your yarns from the beautiful natural colours and hand dyed yarns from the Burnt Fen Alpacas herd. We work in my studio - a Mongolian yurt next to the alpaca fields and the alpacas will no doubt visit to say hello.We have around 40 alpacas ranging through whites, fawns, browns, greys and blacks so there are plenty of natural colours to choose from! Any dyed yarn is hand dyed on the farm using natural dyes. Refreshments are available all day and a there is a delicious homemade soup for lunch.

Scotland is a photographer&rsquo;s paradise. From epic mountains, striking castles, sweeping vistas to the lochs, rivers and seas, I travel across the country to bring Scotland to you. I love and have always loved Scotland, even before I called it home. Currently living amongst the rolling hills and farmland of South West Scotland but with an emotional draw to the deep Glens surrounded by towering mountains of the Highlands. The turbulent history and the uniqueness of its people all add to the mysterious nature of this amazing country.
But it is also a very big country and actually accounts for about one third of Britain. So, if you are lucky enough to be visiting Scotland and you want to photograph all the best places then I can help. I have excellent knowledge of most of the country, including some of the Islands.
I am available for 1 to 7 days. Pick up and drop off from Edinburgh and Glasgow can be arranged for a small additional cost. If you need accommodation then please let me know the you enquire. This photography tour is suitable for up to 3 people.

Join me on my easy accessibility Landscape Photography Tour centring on and around the world-famous Loch Lomond. This course has been designed to have minimal walking whilst still getting maximum value in terms of photographs and acquired knowledge. The tour is suitable for up to 3 individuals
Starting on the West Side of Loch Lomond, we will head up to the Falls of Falloch which is a great place to practice composition and long exposure. Then we will make our way South stopping at one or two beauty spots before stopping for lunch/dinner in Aberfoyle. A trip along Loch Ard, Chon and Arklet will follow before making our way to Inversnaid Falls. From Inversnaid Falls we will head back South to the famous Lone Tree for, hopefully, a beautiful sunset.
For those wishing to we can also include the famous Finnich Glen, otherwise known as the Devil&rsquo;s Pulpit from Outlander fame. Please note that this will include wading through a river and a tricky descent down in to a gorge so a higher level of fitness is required. Please let me know when booking if this is something you want to include.
This course has been designed for maximum accessibility and as such a low level of fitness is needed although there may be a couple of places where you need to scramble to to get the best vantage point this is obviously optional. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring waterproof clothing. Due to the nature of the course I advise bringing a packed lunch.

Silversmith Bryony Knox teaches the ancient art of Chasing &amp; Repousse- where sheet metal is formed and embossed using small steel tools, whilst held in pine pitch. All Levels.
Are you tempted to add this adaptable skill to your jewellery &amp; silversmithing repertoire....Inspired by the stunning metalwork of the Glasgow Style or the Arts &amp; Crafts Movement?
Suitable for all levels and experience. This 2 day course will run over a weekend from 10-5pm each day.
Over the weekend you will learn to chase in the flat, in the round and make your own chasing tools, which you will leave with.
Materials such as copper sheet, bowls and tooled steel are all included in the cost.
The class will be no larger than 3 people and held in Bryony's own colourful and eclectic workshop at Coburg House Studios in Leith, Edinburgh.
Due to Covid19 restrictions Bryony cannot provide tea, coffee but she will point you in the direction of some great local Leith Deli's and coffee shops where you can pick up lunch or feel free to bring your own.

C01M02 - FD&FA Design Fundamentals - BS5839-1
This course will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation BS 5839-1 module and/or industry experience and apply this to the design of FD&FA systems. In this module, emphasis is placed on the process of fire alarm design; enquiry, survey, design, certification and the appropriate recording and documentation requirements. The module uses practical exercises for the practice of design techniques culminating in a design layout exam where delegates demonstrate their knowledge of simple FD&FA system design.

This is module 2 of 5 which can lead to an RQF L3 Award in the Requirements of FD&FA Systems for non-domestic buildings BS 5839-1: 2017.

Who should attend?
Anyone involved in the delivery or checking of FD&FA systems and those who have a responsibility for the design, verification or witness testing e.g., architects, service managers, building/property managers, consultants, fire risk assessors, electrical contractors, fire alarm contractors, interested parties (F&RS, building control, insurers). Who is this Level 3 NVQ aimed at?
The experienced worker qualification is for practising electricians with at least 5 years experience but have never formally completed an industry apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 NVQ Qualification. This is suitable for self-employed and employed electricians. This is the Level 3 pathway for practising electricians to obtain your ECS Gold Card and JIB Grading.
To complete the full qualification you will also need to:
Have a current Wiring Regulations Qualification BS7671
Have an initial verification qualification such as a C&G 2391-50

What’s involved in the qualification?
After an initial Skills Scan, we will discuss the gaps that need to be filled and you will be assessed using a range of methods to complete the evidence gathering process.
There will also be Professional Discussions to discuss areas of expertise and you can choose either an installation or maintenance route based on the work you carry out.
There are seven Performance Units to be assessed for the qualification, these are:
