In this 6 week course we will explore Qigong movements, meditations and breathwork practices to support this slowing down, giving us the space to connect to our Qi, to our subtle energy, giving us the tools to feel stronger, calmer and full of vitality.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine we are entering the water phase of winter. The water element relates to the organs of the bladder and kidneys, our bones, our ears and our sense of hearing. The meridians of Kidney and Bladder run along our spine and the back of the body and when they are flowing well we feel supported by life, grounded and connected to the world around us. We can find our inner flow with ease, without effort or strain, enabling us to let go of our fears and move forward with courage.

Chiric Sanango Flower - Brunfelsia grandiflora
Powerful Master Plant member of the nightshade family.
Chiric means cold, so it removes cold from the bones in the body. It is used often to treat fevers, alleviate pain associated with arthritis, and increase libido. Set out home task (Optional) - complete a survey on your own home using the provided software, which the learner will then receive feedback on.
The course will provide learners with intuitive guidance on how to set up surveying software and fully complete renewables technical site surveys using digital floor planning software, efficient use of digital survey forms, as well as having access to our full range of really helpful surveyor resources.

This Introduction to ECG Course is divided into two parts: Part 1 covers theory (online) and should be completed before Part 2 - practical training (classroom or virtual classroom)
 
A nurse or paramedic-led half-day session covering essential practical skill-sets required to set up and record a valid ECG trace.
 
A SHORT PRELIM / PRIMER COURSE "GETTING STARTED IN ECG" IS INCLUDED AS A SEPARATE COURSE FOR THOSE ENROLLING WITH NO PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF ECG RECORDING (3 SECTIONS, NO QUESTIONS!)

PART 1 - THEORY (online)
Delegates will fully understand the theory and will be able to demonstrate they can identify the correct patient, gain consent and perform an ECG, conforming to Skills for Health recommended standards and guidelines.

M02 – Infection Prevention & Control: Reducing healthcare-associated infections. Keeping Safe.
M03 – Professionalism & Effective Communication: Interacting with patients and staff and the use of effective communication methods.
M04 – Legal Requirements & Consent: Legal Obligations and Accountability. Criminal, Civil and Contractual law in healthcare. Vicarious Liability and your Duty of Care.
