NPORS Dozer (N215)

<p id="isPasted" fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">A standalone 10-week course - 2 hours per week online with daytime and evening options - that will introduce you to the materials, tools, and techniques used in quilling and to Craft4Smiles C.I.C and our tutors. &nbsp; At the end of each session you will have a lovely quilled item to show family and friends or to display on your shelf! You will be told about the other courses we offer so that you can make an informed choice about further learning. Participants in this course often move on to our Introduction to Paper Craft and Mixed Media Course that will introduce you to the basic materials, tools, equipment and techniques used. Experience has shown us that participants for whom English is not their first language, have found that quilling has helped them improve their understanding and spoken English as there is a lot of repetition of basic terms including numbers, colours and directions. When we slow down we give ourselves the opportunity to rejuvenate, to recharge and to harness our own life force energy or “Qi”. 
As we move towards winter we begin to turn inwards and connect to the power of Yin, the power of Water and the power of finding our own slow flow. In this 6 week course we will explore Qigong movements, meditations and breathwork practices to support this slowing down, giving us the space to connect to our Qi, to our subtle energy, giving us the tools to feel stronger, calmer and full of vitality.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine we are entering the water phase of winter. The water element relates to the organs of the bladder and kidneys, our bones, our ears and our sense of hearing. The meridians of Kidney and Bladder run along our spine and the back of the body and when they are flowing well we feel supported by life, grounded and connected to the world around us. We can find our inner flow with ease, without effort or strain, enabling us to let go of our fears and move forward with courage.

What you can expect on this Overcoming Anxiety workshop?
On this virtual workshop, Paul McGowran, will show delegates how to live a life free from Anxiety. Paul will help delegates identify the ‘future’ nature of anxiety and the negative emotions involved. By introducing some basic techniques for resolving anxiety, Paul will help delegates begin the process of overcoming their own anxiety. Finally, he will set out the powerful Memory Re-Solution technique. This technique will not only eliminate anxiety it will resolve all the negative emotions that keep anxiety in place.
Key objectives for this workshop are:
Understand the triggers of anxiety for each delegate;
Identify the temporal (time based language) of anxiety;
Practise Future Pacing on future events;
Begin to understand the Memory Re-Solution technique to live a life free from Anxiety.
