BOHS P304 is designed to give practical guidance on assessing the health risks caused by hazardous substances, in order to meet the requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 for a 'suitable and sufficient' risk assessment.

It is a requirement within codes of practice e.g., BS 5839-1, and within legislation e.g., Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, that duties are placed upon employers and employees regarding health & safety and in particular electrical safety.

Each session builds on the previous, enabling the learner to gain confidence in supporting others with a Mental Health First Aid action plan. We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that instructors can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
