This is a one-day professional diploma course. Traditional Swedish massage therapy is generally used for relaxation, the techniques you will learn on this course enables the therapist to focus on and treat specific problems. Clients are increasingly asking for deeper and more advanced techniques due to their effectiveness in treating a host of issues, the most widespread being back and shoulder pain. On this course you will learn deep tissue techniques, trigger point, palpation, neuromuscular techniques, and hands-free techniques all for a full body treatment.Our comprehensive 4 day intensive professional body massage course guides you carefully through all of the traditional Swedish massage techniques for front and back body, including feet, head and face massage and seated back massage routine too, so that you can deliver a very effective and therapeutic treatment for your clients.

Course Prerequisites Minimum of 18 years Good command of English Our beginners level facial course has no entry requirements. If you are thinking of starting a career in the beauty industry, this course will enable you to offer effective facial treatments to your clients. Course Structure A mixture of only study, virtual lectures and onsite practical sessions. All courses are intimate with four learners in class 2-1 ratio. Welcome home to the sweet meeting of body and earth. A day of Qigong and Breathwork celebrating the autumn equinox and the abundance of life. Join me for a day retreat in the calm oasis of the Sunhouse to embrace the season of late summer and the Earth Element. A wonderful opportunity to take time out and align yourself with the natural flow of energy around us and within us, allowing each of us to access greater vitality and health. September is a time of transition the moment of fullness before the letting go of autumn. A time of giving and receiving and of recognising our own gifts. For me the one word that sums up the earth element is Gratitude, Gratitude, Gratitude. In the morning we will practice some simple qigong exercises, movements and meditations to access the deeper energies within us. We will be leaning into the earth nourishment of the equinox. Learning how to find our own grounded, stable centre, to connect to the earth of our body and to our own innate beauty and natural wisdom.  In the afternoon we will lie down and relax into the support of the earth to receive a deep healing Breathwork Session. We will use conscious connected breathing to encourage detoxification of your body, releasing stuck energy and beliefs and resetting your whole nervous system. His specific work in the offshore area covered Subsea Robotics / Automation, Seabed Production Concepts, Seabed Excavation Methods, Underwater Repair Techniques, Flexible Riser Studies and Maintenance Cost Reductions. After leaving BP in 1992, he continued working in the offshore oil industry through Azur Offshore Ltd, including activities in the assessment of Emerging and Novel Technologies, Technical and Economic Audits, Studies, Production Sharing Agreement Evaluations, Safety and Environmental issues. Clients have included Chevron UK, BP Exploration, British Gas, Technomare, Trident Consultants, Fina UK and Cameron France. He is a regular University lecturer at Crandfield School of Industrial Sciences (UK) and is a course Group Project external examiner for Crandfield. He also lectures on offshore oil industry activities at ENSIETA (France), the Technical University of Delft (Holland) and the Northern Territories University in Darwin (Australia). He is an active member of the UK Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) and serves on their Subsea Engineering and Operations Committee.
