2 Day Course - Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, Modelling and Post Op Care - Nurture Touch Method Service Description What is the difference between Vodder and Brazilian MLD? The main difference between the two methods lies in their approach and purpose. Vodder MLD is a clinical treatment that focuses on the manual stimulation of the lymph nodes, combining slow, circular, and scoop-like motions to move the lymphatic fluid towards the larger lymphatic vessels for proper drainage and filtration. Vodder MLD is commonly used to treat conditions such as lymphedema. Brazilian MLD is primarily designed for cosmetic purposes and is performed to enhance the appearance of the skin and reduce water retention in the body. This technique emphasises vigorous hand movements and pressure on the skin, stimulating the lymphatic system to reduce the appearance of cellulite, sculpt the body, firm the skin, and promote post op healing and care. This is a comprehensive 4 day intensive professional reflexology course.
