My journey with yoga started back in 2017 where I was introduced to my first yoga class... I thought I had joined a cult! Weird words, odd poses and sweaty strangers too close for my liking. So I get it if you're also feeling awkward or hesitant to progress with your practice. From a young age I wished to make a change and difference within the world. Nothing groundbreaking, but sowing those seeds of positive action and happiness. In 2019 I took some time out to travel and countries such as Bali and Nepal helped me find the truths embedded within yogic philosophy.

Our mission is to change the world – one girl at a time. Rites for Girls trains women to mentor girls right through their adolescence and to facilitate girls’ groups.  In Girls Journeying Together groups preteen girls prepare for puberty and learn how to take charge of their emotional, social, and mental well-being. This guidance continues through their teenage years.  Our Facilitators also support their mothers as the girls journey through this pivotal phase.  Our Girls’ Net groups provide guidance and camaraderie through times of challenge to small groups of same-age girls (aged 8-18) in weekly online sessions.  Our Mentors offer tools for coping well and the girls access their inner resources while also realising that they’re not alone.  We train women to become the woman they needed in their lives when they were young.  And together we make growing up for girls an easier, safer, and better supported journey.

I have trained with the best, completing many hundreds of hours’ study in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am a certified Empowering Learning Coach and have also completed training in Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Coaching, Psycho-Neuro Immunology and Mindfulness techniques. My greatest learnings and discoveries in my life have definitely come from being a parent. Nothing could prepare me for the rollercoaster of absolute love, joy, concern, guilt and worry that comes from being a mum. It can be exhausting!
