This course covers the basics of dog grooming. In addition to 5 days at our school, there are 2 written modules, grooming diaries and 1 assessment at the end of the 5 days. The 5 days on this course count as part of the 15 day Certificate or the 30 day Diploma if you wish to upgrade. This qualification is aimed to introduce students to dog grooming, and give you a taste of what being a dog groomer could be.

This course is an introduction to styling dogs. You will spend 15 full days on site doing practical learning with our fabulous dog models and tutors. There are 5 written modules, grooming diaries and 2 practical assessments at the end of the 15 days. This qualification is aimed to take students on a journey from complete beginners to be able to groom a selection of breeds.

The Snobby Dogs Refresh & Improve Dog Grooming Course is designed to assist qualified or experienced dog groomers in improving their grooming techniques and methods. The course will help dog groomers with their professional techniques such as bathing, drying, scissoring, styling and shaping. The course will cover Correct and safe handling of dogs Health Checking of a dog Drying dogs and prepare their coats for styling Scissor techniques Use of comb attachments Styling techniques Nail and ear care Students will receive all course materials and it is recommended that students bring along a camera for before and after photographs as well as pens, high-lighters and notepads.
