Course Overview The qualification is designed for post-16 learners who want to study sports at university, or are interested in a career within the sports industry. It offers a solid foundation on the various aspects of sport that enables students to develop essential skills and knowledge for gaining employment or progressing to Higher Education. The qualification is split into two 1 year courses, and allows learners to gain up to a maximum of 168 UCAS tariff points – this Is the equivalent of three A* A levels. Candidates must also possess an interest in pursuing a career within sports.

A laid back and fun way to learn maths

I am a qualified and experienced Brazilian Portuguese teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults. I teach Brazilian Portuguese for general purposes but also prepare students for GCSE, A-levels and CELPE-Bras. I have also been an exame conductor for many years in several schools across London. I love teaching and helping my students speaking as a native Brazilian.

Every Wednesday at 16:50 – 17:30 (Newmarket Academy) or Every Saturday at 12:35 – 13:15 (Exning Community Church Hall) The piano is one of the most popular instruments among all western instruments. At M&L Music School we equip our piano players with all the necessary skills to play different styles of music using good technique. From beginners to grade 8 level (grade 5 is a level that would be enough to gain an A in a GCSE solo instrumental assessment). Piano Group Lessons are an encouraging and challenging environment that can be highly motivational. Learning and playing the piano in a group allows students to practice and perform in front of other people while building confidence. Our piano classes consist of learning pieces using notated music and by ear; scales; sight-reading; aural and technique exercises. We can prepare students to take Trinity guildhall grades, ABRSM, and Rock School piano or keyboard exams as well as performances.
