I run small workshops in glass fusing, stained glass & glass painting. The classes are fun & relaxed, and you get to take home a piece of art at the end of the session. All workshops vary in length from 3hrs to 2 days, and can be booked online.

Creative Fused Glass WorkshopsNikki has been based in the Fusion building at Jackfield Tile Museum for over fifteen years. When Nikki is not offsite blowing glass or in the studio finishing her own glass pieces she hosts fused glass workshops with a focus on providing exceptional workshop experiences. “I love glass as a material. It offers so many creative possibilities in all its guises, so I decided to open up some of this potential to visitors to my studio at the tile museum and have a go at creating a simple fused glass tile for themselves. It’s really rewarding to see adults and children alike relish the opportunity to make something totally unique to them whilst having fun in a professional studio. The amazing results produced in such a short timeframe never ceases to amaze me. These workshops make glass as a creative medium as an art form much more accessible and fun for all ages. I am a glass artist based on the edge of the Pennine town of Hebden Bridge where I work from my home studio creating kiln formed glass work. My work is all fused glass which involves several processes – design, hand cutting from sheets of glass, use of glass powders and enamels, flame work, kiln carving and finally multiple kiln firings and cold working by hand. A keen cyclist, I spend much of my spare time cycling the beautiful hills of Yorkshire and holidays cycling the French Alps and Pyrenees. I take inspiration from my love of the local landscape of hills and mill towns and my passion for cycling. My current work celebrates both Yorkshire and my excitement about the Tour de France coming to the area.

About Fused Glass artist Wendy Bradberry Glass Artist, Wendy Bradberry, has been teaching and passing on her enthusiasm and skills in Fused Glass at Workshops in Cornwall for several years. Having relocated to the Bere Peninsula, she is now offering these Workshops in West Devon. Wendy has now opened her new Studio, situated in a tranquil setting on the banks of the River Tamar, with the sounds of the countryside all around, it is a perfect setting for inspiring creativity. Wendy can offer half-day and full-day Workshops at the Studio at a date convenient to you. Wendy’s work has been sold in many Cornish Galleries and she holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Glass.

These are sold locally in and around Aberdeen and also online via Etsy.com. Along with her Etsy shop, Léla also runs a variety of Craft Workshops in the local area.

Welcome to Honeypie Handmade Offering workshops in fused glass and ceramics in Ipswich, Suffolk From our Ipswich based studio in Suffolk we run workshops in glass fusing and ceramics. We also create and sell products throughout the east of England, at craft markets, boutiques and galleries. All of our workshops are open to beginners and those with a little more experience. We offer a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere with plenty of tea and coffee available at every workshop session! Our workshop sessions are ideal for creative types and people looking for something different to try. All materials are provided and you’ll leave each workshop with your own creation(s). Workshop sessions are run in small groups allowing us to offer our experience to your creative ideas.

After 25 years in the NHS, for the last 7 years I have had a new career as a glass artist and small business owner and all that entails. My husband, Chris, is a potter and we are enjoying running our businesses side by side! We live in Worcester and can often be found at art and craft shows and galleries, taking opportunities to meet other designer-makers in the area. Most weekends we either have classes or have stalls at an art & craft market somewhere in the Midlands. I am loving sharing my passion for all things glassy with other people and we have great fun with our combined courses with whole day courses including lunch.

In 2000 after graduating with a 1st class degree in glass from Edinburgh College of Art Wendy moved into her first glass studio, a small red brick outbuilding in her home in Dorset. Wendy then received the prestigious Crafts Council Start Up Award to purchase equipment to start Red Brick Glass (the glass kiln is still going strong 20 years on!) Wendy worked as an architectural glass artist, collaborating with interior designers and architects to create large-scale glass installations and made small glass work to sell in galleries and shops. After a few years Wendy launched her website (with a new-fangled online shop) and started to run fused glass making workshops. 4 years ago Wendy moved into her new home and studio, a gorgeous barn conversion in the beautiful village of West Lulworth, Dorset. This was a dream come true as Wendy always wanted to live within walking distance from the sea. She still doesn’t take it for granted and walks to get her dose of sea air most days. Red Brick Glass continues to grow and develop. Wendy designed the make at home kits during lockdown 2020 as she couldn’t run workshops and due to their success she now needs a little help in the studio to keep up with orders. Vicki is the brilliant new studio assistant and Wendy’s teenage daughters help out at weekends and holidays (filling up colourful glass pots is the favourite job). We are very grateful to Red Brick Glass customers who have supported us over the years. We are excited for the future and hope you will follow us on our journey.
