About Us The City of Sheffield Diving Club was established in the early 1980’s
at its former home ‘Sheaf Valley Baths’, officially opened in November 1972. In
1991, the Club relocated to Ponds Forge Sports International Centre which opened
on the site where Sheaf Valley pool stood. Ponds Forge hosts regional, national
and international diving competitions and camps and is extremely proud to have
hosted a leg of the FINA International Diving World Series in 2007, 2008, 2009
and 2011. The training environment is one of the biggest 10 metre venues in
Britain, with two dry-diving areas, an air track and a unique tailor-made diving
trampoline. The diving pool has the only 1 metre overhead wet harness in the
Great Britain and the most amount of diving springboards in the UK.
