Hall Farm Eastoft has been farmed by the Coulman family for some 150 years or more and over time the land has produced a wide range of arable crops and been home to cattle, pigs, chickens and more recently alpacas. Extending to around 235 hectares (575 acres) of land the farm grow wheat, oilseed rape, sugar beet, potatoes and grass, as well as maintaining an extensive environmental scheme to enhance the natural habitat. It is important to us to farm to the highest environmental, sustainable and welfare standards which means we subscribe to a range of key industry standards and generate much of our energy and resources from sustainable sources. As members of Red Tractor Assurance schemes for both crop production and our pig production, as well as Freedom Food, British Quality Pork and Global Animal Partnership schemes for our pigs, we ensure that all our produce meets high production standards and enters the food chain. We generate all our power from our Solar PV system, powering lights, feed systems, grain driers and our vehicles and use a Biomass boiler to provide heat. In addition, around 90% of our water use is either borehole sourced or from rainwater harvesting ensuring we minimise our use of mains, treated water and rely on naturally produced water. The farm has hosted educational visits for many years, supported by Natural England’s environmental schemes, and has developed this educational support since 2017 into a social farm engaging with young people and adults, empowering them to develop skills to enrich their learning, wellbeing and social life. With our focus on sustainable, environmentally friendly farming coupled with our increasing community of social farmers, here at Hall Farm Eastoft we aim to provide a community farming operation benefiting the environment and the local community.

''Care for young people's future CIC'', it's a Centre of Alternative Education and Reintegration for young people and families. Our mission and vision is: To support ,mentor and empower the young people from the Roma community and any other disadvantaged background : such as EAL, BAMER, SEN . To prioritise Looked after children and children with special needs without a diagnose by reconnecting them with their culture, heritage or community. To raise young people's aspirations and support them in achieving their best in life. To raise awareness of the Roma cultural background by working in partnership with all relevant services and public bodies. Covid -19 response Please note that due to COVID-19, our consultants have taken the difficult decision to suspend all face-to-face group and individual activities and services in response to Covid-19. This is to protect the most vulnerable members of the community and safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone. We are starting face to face sessions in small groups and one to one for the most vulnerable young people. Our team have put in place alternative services where possible, e.g. telephone appointments, zoom sessions in Romanes and English. We are still doing outreach and provide educational activities to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people . Bread 41 is an organic bakery located in Dublin 2. Our bakery specialises in long fermented breads, which are made using traditional methods and just a few simple ingredients; flour, salt and water. All our breads are hand made over two days using organic flour and other wholesome ingredients including nuts, seeds, grains and dried fruit. We will supply like-minded retailers, restaurants, hotels and cafés with bread and fresh pastries daily. In September 2018 we are launched our very own bakery/eatery Bread 41, which is located next to our bakery on Pearse Street in Dublin 2. At Bread 41, customers can buy our breads, pastries and taste amazing food. We are very excited about this opportunity, given our teams acumen for putting together incredible yet simple dishes. Everyday our kitchen will be serving up fresh lunch and breakfast options using local , seasonal, organic where possible and always ethnically sourced ingredients. Similar to our routes in the bakery, we will be focusing on fermented foods, making our own butters, jams and sourcing local organic produce where we can to support local farmers and suppliers where possible. OUR STORY Our Story Macarons & More is the passion project of one man: Tim Kinnaird. Tim originally trained as a doctor and worked as a consultant paediatrician in Norwich. Although he loved his job, his passion for food was a thread that ran throughout his life – and when he was given the opportunity to explore it further, everything changed. As a contestant on MasterChef 2010, Tim caught the nation’s attention with his gentle manner and showstopping desserts. On his journey to the final, he cooked at Michelin-starred restaurants and even served a banquet for the Maharajah of Rajasthan. “Tim has the gift of making sweet things incredibly delicious - and his macarons are to die for.” JOHN TORODE The experience inspired Tim to leave his job in February 2010 and start a business from his kitchen. MasterChef judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace had spotted his ability for creating exquisite patisseries, and so did the public. Within six months, the business outgrew Tim’s house. #TeamMacaron was formed to cope with the growing demand and quickly grew to a nine-person operation once production moved to a kitchen in Watton, Norfolk. Expanding the team has brought in a whole range of additional skills and personalities. Macarons & More has been growing ever since. In 2011 we launched online, meaning we could deliver our delights throughout the UK. Then in March 2013, our beautiful shop opened in Norwich’s Royal Arcade. By 2014, it was getting tricky to meet demand both in the shop and from our wholesale and online customers. Don’t get us wrong; it was a very nice problem to have! With the support of our fantastic sponsors, including Belling, Magimix and Kenwood, we opened our new central Norwich bakery in January 2015. Now, we can cook up even more treats than ever. Our bakery is also where we run the very popular Macarons & More Cookery School. Led by Tim and the Macarons & More team, our classes are informal and hands-on, helping keen amateur bakers learn new techniques and recipes in a fun environment. In September 2018, we opened a second shop in Norwich’s busiest shopping mall: intu Chapelfield. As well as the support of our amazing customers, Macarons & More has received local and national acclaim. We won the Beautiful Baking category in the EDP Food and Drink Awards in 2013, and we were runners up in the Observer Food Monthly Awards in the Independent Retailer category in 2013, 2015 and 2017. Tolhurst Organic lies just outside the village of Whitchurch-on-Thames in south Oxfordshire. Nestled between the Chilterns and the river Thames, the farm is situated in the picturesque Hardwick Estate, with 17 acres in two fields and 2 acres in the 500 year old walled garden. Iain Tolhurst, along with his business partner Lin, have held the organic symbol for over 30 years, thus making Tolhurst Organic one of the longest running organic vegetable farms in England. The farm doesn’t only hold the “Soil Association” symbol but was the first to attain the “Stockfree Organic” symbol in 2004, and has had no grazing animals and no animal inputs to any part of the farm for the last 10 years. In may 2014 we registered as a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee. This shows that our activities benefit the community, and it offers more opportunities for business development. We supply in-season organic vegetables and fruit delivered to your neighbourhood weekly, via a Neighbourhood Rep’ scheme. Almost all vegetables are harvested the day of delivery to guarantee their freshness. The bags will vary from week to week according to the season and availability of produce. You cannot choose the contents of your bag – if we were to pack to individual requirements it would double the cost, so this approach keeps our box scheme affordable and accessible to all. The delivery round covers Reading, Pangbourne, Wallingford and Oxford areas, every Thursday. Our produce is dropped off to points run by Neighbourhood Reps. Your orders are placed with the Rep, and produce is collected from him/her. As well as helping to keep prices down, this way of delivery minimises food miles to almost zero. If you are in Whitchurch-on-Thames or Pangbourne, we can deliver to your door. To allow some flexibility with contents, we have a list of Extras available, so that you may order extra items, such as quantities of potatoes, carrots, onions, salad packs and less usual things such as organic flowers. We pride ourselves on being able to grow as many of the vegetables as possible ourselves and can in an average year manage to produce at least 85% of the value on our own land. We believe that food should be as local as possible, and try as far as possible only to buy from other organic farms in the area. We are founder members of Thames Organic Growers, a group formed to encourage the production of local food for local people, so where possible we trade within our group members.
