The Emergency First Aid At Work course covers worst case scenarios and some of the more common minor injuries. It is aimed at those working in lower risk areas such as offices and shops. You will need to attend a full 7 hours of trining (breaks included) First Aid Training at Splat is relaxed and enjoyable. We aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day. There are some practical and some multiple-choice assessments but our job is to ensure you have everything you need to pass these easily. Please note that First Aid can be quite physical, you will need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and Recovery Position. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move around in, and, if possible, please let us know ahead of time if there is anything we can do to help support you and your enjoyment of the day.

This paediatric first aid course provides essential information related to the Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF). Immediate life support, first aid

THE ONLY NATIONALLY ACCREDITED AND CERTIFIED COMPANION ANIMAL CPCT AND PET FIRST AID COURSE FOR PET CARE PROFESSIONALS. This is a one day interactive seminar led by a qualified veterinary surgeon, veterinary nurse or suitably qualified pet care professional. The interactive sessions provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills learning for anyone who works with and/or owns small companion animals. The course is delivered in a friendly and enjoyable environment that encourages learning. THE COURSE: Will allow you to follow the same procedures that a veterinary surgeon or nurse would employ if they were the first on the scene of an animal emergency Is based on current scientific information Is continuously monitored to ensure that the content is always up to date COURSE RESOURCES INCLUDE: Comprehensive course manual with extensive notes and references Sample first aid kits and equipment including a wide selection of bandaging materials (for the use during the day only) Realistic replica animals on which to practice bandaging and splinting Resusci-pet manikins to allow hands-on practice assessment of vital signs, performing CPCR bandaging and transportation Considerate use of live subjects is also available to practice assessment of vital signs and bandaging. This 2-day course offers the requalification of a variety of first aid situations and how to respond to an emergency. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these situations safely and efficiently.

First Aid at Work is a 3 day course 1 day is delivered on line. If you are already qualified just choose the 2 day option to requalify and you skip the online element. The course is suitable for people who work in high risk workplaces and covers the worst case scenarios and some of the more common minor stuff and goes on to cover common injuries and conditions a first aider might come accross. Initial training: 1 day online learning 2 days in the Splat classroom. Initial training is a BLENDED course meaning that 6 hours of work must be completed online BEFORE the start of the course. Without this completed online element delegates will not be able to attend training and places cannot be refunded. Registration for the online element will be sent separately when booking is complete. Requalifier: If you have a **current First Aid at Work Certificate** you need only attend the 2 classroom days. You have 2 options here: Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) is a 1 day course designed to prepere you for worst case scenarios with children and babies. 1 day face to face 9am untill 4pm Paediatric First Aid Blended (PFAB) is a 2 day course covering everything from EPFA above and adding on a range of additional conditions and injuries you may need to deal with when caring for children. 2 days, 1 online in your own time and 1 classroom day 9am to 5.15 pm First Aid Training is a relaxed and enjoyable day, assessment will not be stressful, we aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day.
