The half-day First Aid for Mental Health Awareness course provides a concise yet impactful overview of essential mental health concepts. Participants gain a foundational understanding of common mental health conditions, learn to recognize signs and symptoms, and explore effective communication strategies.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFAider) is an internationally recognised training course that teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis. Supervising first aid for mental health: What will you learn? You’ll be surprised by how much you enjoy this 2-day course. I always make sure the learning process is engaging, interactive and stimulating — so you won’t be bored. Successful students will receive an Immerse Training Certificate, which is valid for one year. This certificate will be issued by Qualsafe, the awarding body for Immerse Training. Additional Information Completion of the Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator includes 1 credit at Level 2 of the Qualification Credit Framework (QCF). When there is a shooting, stabbing or bomb explosion the initial priority will be public safety. This can delay the time before the emergency services are able to reach the injured. Our 3 hour citizenAID course enables the general public to be effective in these situations before the emergency services are available to provide professional medical support. First Aid British Army, Battlefield Casualty Drills Course Content Following this course students will: Be able to use the citizenAID app/pocket guide in an emergency situation.
