Course Description: The 18th edition course is a 3 day short course aimed at anyone involved in the design, construction and inspection and testing of electrical systems, also a nationally recognised ‘must have’ qualification for companies seeking to recruit electricians. It is intended to introduce the candidate to a working knowledge of the Wiring Regulations along with a brief overview of the Electricity at Work Regulations covering their statutory duties. Learners will be introduced to EAS as part of the fire safety solution for tall residential properties. This CPD course provides learners with an understanding of the requirements of BS 5839-1 in relation to, design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of EAS.

This course is ideal to give all members of staff basic fire training to increase awareness and cooperation in the event of a fire in the workplace.

At the end of the 5 days, Learners will attain an RQF Award in the requirements of FD&FA systems for non-domestic buildings BS 5839-1: 2017.
