Move up a Grade Revision Guide

By Ideas Into Action

Move up a Grade A Revision guide for students in all subjects at school, university and professional levels Course Information   Description Exams are a difficult time. Studying can be tedious and frustrating, but you have to put in the hours in to get the marks. There are no quick fixes, but you can get a better grade with a good revision strategy. This course presents the revision strategy I used to get the second highest mark in the finals of my accountancy qualifications and 10 A’s out of 11 exams through three years of accountancy study. The revision strategy is not complicated, and you still have to do the work – it’s not a magic solution – but it guides you through each phase of revision, and the exam itself, to help you get the best possible marks. I firmly believe that this revision strategy will get you a better mark than you would have without it. Thank you for your interest in this course. Fabric and Power BI Governance

By Learn Data Insights Ltd

Power BI has been a boon to organisations, allowing them to get quicker time to insights and democratising access to powerful data analytics capabilities within business teams who understand the data best. But for many companies it has quickly grown into the “wild west” with hundreds or thousands of reports, datasets and workspaces with very little visibility of what data is being consumed in Power BI, who has access to it and what the “right” version of the data/logic is!With Power BI now part of Microsoft Fabric, these benefits and challenges have both increased multiple fold! This e-learning course is aimed at Fabric/Power BI administrators or those who need to work with these administrators (along with IT and security teams) to ensure that Fabric is enabled with the appropriate guardrails and controls! Learning Objectives: Know what “good looks like” with regards to Fabric/Power BI Governance – e.g. being able to have Fabric be an integral part of a data mesh operating model, high levels of maturity on the Fabric Adoption Roadmap. Understand how to organise workspaces/items around the data product requirements. Manage access permissions and security through workspace roles and implementation of technical controls (e.g. feature controls in the Fabric tenant settings, DLP, Sensitivity Labels) Understand the required data culture, executive sponsorship, roles & responsibilities, organisational structure and supporting tools for successful enablement and adoption of Microsoft Fabric across a large organisation Note that this e-learning course can be hosted in any Learning Management system and customised to your company. Please let us know if this is something you're interested in!

By NADIS Animal Health Skills

Catch up with Dr John Graham Brown (University of Liverpool), Phillipa Page (NADIS) and Matt Colston (ELANCO) on their discussion around liver fluke control in sheep. Dr Graham Brown works with NADIS and SCOPS to calculate and predict the parasite and fluke forecast for the year ahead. He discusses the risks posed for this year and specific farm risks to consider for your farm. Matt and Phillipa discuss testing, management and treatment options for effective control on your farm. This event concluded with a Q&A session. This webinar was hosted by NADIS in association with Elanco. Dr John Graham-Brown, BVSc, MSc, PhD, MRCVS John graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2010. As part of his studies, he also completed a master’s degree in Veterinary Parasitology. Power BI and Fabric Copilot

By Learn Data Insights Ltd

In this 1 hour e-learning course which uses a Finance dataset (the same I use on the Financial Reporting with Power BI course), I cover how to leverage tools such as Power BI/ Fabric Copilot, and Generative AI tools more broadly, to automate the full end-to-end analytics workflow This workflow covers everything from requirements gathering to building a medallion lakehouse architecture in Microsoft Fabric, to setting up your data to work with Power BI Copilot and building a vector search index on your income statement results for automatic financial commentary generation. These technologies are revolutionizing business processes and analytical reasoning in areas such as finance. While Generative AI is often used for creative tasks like summarizing documents or generating content, its real potential lies in finance in automating data-heavy processes. Tasks like data cleaning, preparation, and modeling—often time-consuming and tedious—are critical for transforming raw data from financial and operational systems into actionable insights. In this course you’ll learn how to shape data, create calculations, and add context, enabling Generative AI to reason over it and deliver automated insights. By combining these tools effectively, you’ll drive meaningful business change through technology.
