the english wine room is a great spot for wine tasting in Whitstable. Located in the heart of the town, you can try the best English wineshe english wine room offers private group tastings and events tailored to your preference. Over the course of two hours, in groups of ten to fourteen guests, we will sample 8 local wines from the vineyards of Kent. You will be invited to make tasting notes on each wine and learn of the grape varieties, locality of the vineyard and the story of the winemaker.

We have been bringing German students to Kent since 1988. - We organise educational visits for German schools and also for individual students (usually 4-14 nights). - We offer student exchange programmes in the Lower Sixth form, for young people from Germany in Britain and for young people from Britain in Germany (usually 4-16 weeks). We currently DO NOT offer English language courses. We are currently looking for welcoming families to host German students visiting Medway and the surrounding area. Can you provide a home to language students? Be their support and guidance while you share some British culture with them! The students have a full programme of lessons, activities and excursions. Our girls and boys are aged 11 to 18 and usually stay in Kent for three nights, a week or two weeks. We happily listen to your preferences Requirements - A spare room for your guests - Willingness to treat students as a member of your family - All hosts will need to be DBS checked (we can do this free of charge)
