About Edinburgh School of English was founded in 1969 and has gained a reputation as one of the UK’s leading English language schools. Over the years, it has developed a variety of intensive English language courses to suit both adults and young learners. Previously located on the Royal Mile in the Old Town, the school is now located in Queen Street in the heart of the New Town and in the magnificent Georgian building of the Basil Paterson College campus.
