Basic Life Support (BLS) Course

Our experienced trainer will provide competence assessment for the whole day. You need to book clients in for ear irrigation and you need a minimum number of clients which we will discuss with you upon booking.  If travel is required within a 25 miles radius we will charge travel expenses on top of the fee we charge. 

The First Aid at Work (FAW) is the highest and most widely recognised first aid qualification.

Awareness of first aid for mental health: What will you learn? You’ll be surprised by how much you enjoy the 4-hour session. Here’s the 4-hour course content: Defining mental health, and understanding the stigma surrounding it Factors which affect mental health Roles and responsibilities of a first aider Outline of advice — What to say (and not to say) to someone with a suspected mental health condition Listening without judgement Knowing when to contact the emergency services Identifying signs of stress, and how stress can be managed How to implement a positive mental health culture in the workplace Identifying signs and symptoms of depression, suicide, psychosis, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders Do bear in mind, this course can’t teach you how to diagnose and treat a mental health condition. That’s the responsibility of a healthcare professional. However, you’ll know where to signpost an individual who needs professional help. You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to approach, reassure and support someone when they need it most.

This qualification is aimed at those working in an environment where an AED is available.

To be able to provide First Aid in the workplace, as identified by the workplace risk assessment, and to a standard recognised by the HSE. This course is designed for people who want to receive our most thorough first aid training.

The 3-hour Baby & Child First Aid class covers CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures and Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness and will give everyone who attends the peace of mind they deserve.

This in-depth training course, you will deepen your knowledge of the lifestyle and biological factors that cause strokes, how to recognise the signs of a stroke attack, stroke first aid procedures and post-stroke care provision.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively to casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing, and administering it.
