Our First Aid at Work Level 3 (18 hours) course is designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Designed for medium to high risk organisations.

3 Day First Aid Description: The full 3-day First Aid at Work Qualification is nationally recognised. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. This qualification is valid for three year, after which delegates need to complete a 2-day refresher course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Learners receive a First Aid at Work guide book, a training dressing and a CPR barrier protection device. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year. The First Aid at Work qualification is the most comprehensive of all our first aid qualifications, and covers a wide range of skills which can be used within a workplace first aid situation, including: assessing the scene, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis, plus much more.

This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, dental practitioners and dental care professionals, nurses, healthcare professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.

This course is ideal for anyone working in childcare – The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid will give you the knowledge to act with confidence and how to deal with emergency situations in a safe and appropriate manner. This course covers the more common illnesses that occur in children as well as the types of incidents and accidents that could happen.

This course complies with the latest ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond.
