What we need Working desktops, laptops and tablets up to 8 years old. We don’t collect WEEE waste as everything is reusable. If “WEEE” is to be re-used, then it never becomes a waste and can be classified as used electrical and electronic equipment (UEEE). Therefore, UK waste laws do not apply. Secure Data Destruction Data destruction takes place at our secured London premises. We issue certification giving you complete peace of mind that your data has been irretrievably erased.

Camp Crusoe is the quintessentially British summer camp experience where campers feel connected, valued, challenged, and supported. We take having fun incredibly seriously and believe that as modern childhood is all too short we must help our kids make the most of every moment of it. While school work is a vital part of our children’s development, so too is holiday time: Camp Crusoe is very much a fun and adventurous camp and not a summer school! We are the perfect size. There are plenty of opportunities to make new friends with no more than 80 campers per session. We know every camper by name, what interests them, if they need extra support or just an open stage to shine. Over the course of camp, community bonds are forged that last well after campers return home, sometimes a lifetime. Having seen first hand how our American cousins get it so right when it comes to summer camps, we feel it is essential that every child has the opportunity to get away from home each year and enjoy a new environment, testing themselves, trying new things and making new friends, all while having fun in the great outdoors. Too much time seems to be spent cooped up with electronic gadgetry of one sort or another when there is so much fun to be had outdoors, playing with other kids in a safe and controlled setting. Our extensive program of activities from water-sports to drama, archery to photography, appeal to every type of child, offering the opportunity for each camper to grow in confidence, improve their decision making skills and maybe discover a new lifelong hobby. We don’t try to cram too much in and allow just the right amount of time for campers to hangout, make new friends and play together. We are a small, independent camp run by a close-knit team of friends and family who are committed to enriching children’s lives. The core group have many years experience working with children both on summer camps and in the classroom, and are supported by a highly trained and motivated team of camp counsellors, many of whom have worked at camp before and are planning a career working with children. Camp Crusoe is about allowing children the time and space to be exactly that - children. Fun and personal development is our ultimate aim, but we also know from experience how much children learn at camp, both about themselves and about being part of something larger than them. A Brief History: 1990: Age 7 – Alistair began learning to play the piano. 2001: Age 18 – he qualified as a Group Exercise Fitness Instructor. 2007: Age 24 – he moved to Manchester to learn how to create electronic dance music. 2009: Age 25 – he had his first record release “The Cyber Scotsman vs Paul F – Sucker for Hardcore” released on Presence Hard. 2015: Age 31 – he became a UK Fitness Presenter and formed www.aliandginapresents.com with his fitness partner, Gina King. 2016: Age 33 – he became an Ambassador for Pure Energy Music. 2018: Age 34 – he and Gina became the first two UK Instructors to complete the “EURO EDUCATION STEP COMPLETE” Master Training Programme in Barcelona. 2019: Age 35 – he became a Personal Trainer and “FAB FITNESS PT UK” was created!!! 2020: Age 36 – “FAB FITNESS MUSIC” was born!!! Alistair has over 20 years’ experience teaching classes all over the UK and Europe. He has presented at numerous fitness events and regularly tours Britain with his fitness partner, Gina King, promoting their Freestyle Step & Aerobics “Ali and Gina Presents” events. He discovered his passion for Step & Aerobics when he was just 15 years old, and started an after-school aerobics class when he was just 16 – with a little help from his P.E. teachers! His natural progression to qualify as an instructor was achieved two days after his 18th birthday in 2001 – and his passion for music and fitness continues to burn bigger and brighter with each passing day! Throughout 2018 and 2019, Alistair and Gina added to their accolades by becoming the first two UK citizens to achieve certification from the European “Euro Education” Step Complete Diploma Training Programme, delivered by European Master Trainer Guillermo Gonzalez Vega. This enabled them to bring the high-class flair and standards of European Freestyle Presentation to their native UK homeland! With his ever-increasing thirst for knowledge to actively improve people’s quality of life through the joy of fitness, Alistair has continued to add to his skill set. 2019 saw him become a certified Level 3 YMCA Personal Trainer, a certified Non-Contact Boxing Tutor, and Advanced Boxing For Fitness Instructor with another specialisation in Exercise for Older Adults. With current studies ongoing for a certification in “Level 3 GP Exercise Referral” and “Level 4 Nutrition and Weight Loss”, Alistair’s mission to provide the highest level of service to all of his members and participants of the “FAB FITNESS” community continues to grow and flourish! Alistair’s lifelong desire to create his own kind of music brought him to Manchester in 2007, where he continues to reside to the present day. Music has played an important part in my life since primary school days. At first I learnt organ, - the electronic organ was having its heyday and I was fully involved. As a young teenager I would demonstrate these instruments for local retailers at 'road show' events throughout Northern Ireland. A major highlight was performing at a public concert in the Ulster Hall, Belfast, along with organ legend Reginald Dixon (of Tower Ballroom Blackpool, Wurlitzer fame) when I was only 14 years of age. At the same time I was progressing with my formal music education both at school (A-Level Music), and with private tutors on both classical organ & piano. I successfully passed ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music) Grade 8 at the age of 17, and later went on to earn 'merit' in a Guildhall School of Music Performance Exam. I have held the post of organist and choirmaster at churches in Northern Ireland and here in the North East. I have also provided entertainment (Organ & Drums Duo) at functions and dinner dances, and performed on both Radio & TV. My teaching experience spans 30+ years, and to help me continue progressing in my understanding of latest teaching ideas I've attended a number of ABRSM professional development sessions, and completed their highly respected and accredited Teaching Music Effectively course. I also participated in a two day Music Teacher Conference entitled Nurturing potential, Encouraging success. And, in association with Music Mark, attended Musical Progression and the role of assessment sessions to keep my skills right up to date.
