Formed in April 2017, we run Elstow School, Bedford Free School and Queen’s Park Academy. We are opening a brand new secondary school, Houstone School, in September 2022. We believe very strongly in our values, which guide everything we do. We exist to serve our communities – the pupils and families of Bedford and Central Bedfordshire – in order to offer a real choice of education. We specialise in an academic education that offers excellent outcomes, a great learning environment with routines and structures that ensure excellent behaviour, and phenomenal extra-curricular opportunities. Developing U is a specialist training provider primarily located in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, with a second training facility based in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. We offer a wide range of training options, from bespoke and online courses, to apprenticeship programmes, traineeships and workshops. We also offer adult learning opportunities across many industry sectors, with new training options being added continuously. Developing U is a part of the Penderson’s Group, who specialise in rail and plant industry training, and as such we offer courses in these areas. Welcome to our website; we hope that you find it useful. Redborne is a very successful, oversubscribed Upper School of over 1,600 students, 450 of whom are in the Sixth Form. Over 80% of our Sixth Form go onto university and 14 have gone to Oxbridge in the last 3 years. We have been designated a National Support School by the Department of Education. We were graded "good" in our Ofsted inspection in November 2017, with many positive comments being made by the inspection team. In April, 2011 we were granted Academy Status by the government and as such we are now an independent but state funded school. Psychology4Learning was established in 2016 by Dr Robert Beadel (Educational Psychologist), Dr Paula Williams (Educational Psychologist) and Claire Olliffe (Business Director) and provides educational psychologists to schools and parents. After many years working in the public sector, the three founders felt their skills would be best applied by establishing a private educational psychologist business to meet the increasing needs of schools and their pupils. We now have an experienced team of 8 Associate Educational Psychologists, as well as the two founder Educational Psychologists, working with over 80 schools and parents across Buckinghamshire and neighbouring counties. Our private Educational Psychologists want to share their knowledge and experience with ALL parents and schools. They have spent many years working for Local Authorities, and are now using this experience to bring educational psychology directly to schools, other educational settings, parents and carers. Our aim is to provide the education sector with an independent and trusted psychology provider who is fully committed to putting the needs of the child first.
