We have areas where you can pitch a hammock, tarp or small tent, cleared of standing and hanging dead wood, or you can camp on a nearby working farm campsite. Our mission is to provide young people (7-13 years old) with the opportunity to learn about art history in depth via hands-on experiences that bring subjects to life in a fun and engaging manner. Whether your child loves painting and drawing, has a fascination with puzzles and riddles, or has recently started to develop strong views about the world, Vincent and Frida will help to cultivate in them a lifelong curiosity about the art they see around them. Our courses will teach students a number of valuable skills including the ability to closely and carefully study artworks, analyse visual information, draw connections with other sociopolitical topics, question historical beliefs and form their own opinions on a broad range of subjects. The immersive and fun courses will run during school term time, with 9 sessions per term. UPCOMING EVENTS Our classes can be booked as a trial lesson (subject to availability). Welcome to Happy Voices! Throughout my industry experience, I started to notice when new students contacted me, there was a common theme to what they wanted to do with their voice: they all wanted control, vocal colour and, always, confidence. I started to get emails from people all the time asking for top tips and exercises on how to achieve these aims. These were people intimated by what they saw on talent shows on television, and yet they were intrigued by it at the same time; those who had never been apart of the school choir, or were being spoken over in meetings at work; who doubted their ability to sing, to karaoke or to speak, or whose voice cracked the moment they needed it to be strong. This led me to the dawning realization that: People all over the world use their voices every day, and yet, most of them don’t know how How do you use your voice in a happy and healthy way? How can you use it to get what you want? How do you control your voice? And importantly, how on earth do I reach out to all these people and help them to answer that question? I wanted to reach these people, ‘musical’ or ‘non-musical’, ‘beginner’ or ‘novice’, school choir or no school choir, and share knowledge with them, helping them gain control, colour and confidence in the everyday voice, singing or spoken. I'm Lynne, interiors addict and warrior on waste. I'm passionate about inspiring you to live more sustainably in a home that looks fantastic, doesn't cost the earth (literally) and that you love. My home has become a showcase for my sourcing, upcycling, styling and thrifting skills and is used as a shoot location complete with a shed full of props that I have salvaged on my travels. I love upcycling old furniture to create unique pieces for peoples homes. I am always busy scouring charity shops and you'll often find me diving into skips to rescue something unique and interesting. Nothing thrills me more than saving something from landfill, working on it and then seeing it take pride of place in a room.
