INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES Law in the 21st century must be very quickly
adapted to modern conditions. Technologies are developing extremely fast, which
means that there should be rules that will regulate them. Leading technologies
can also be used in important areas of the state - for example, in the military
industry. In the article cybersecurity expert Trishana Ramluckan examines
options for how the state should protect itself from cyber-attacks and similar
things and their legal status. The article describes this problem using the
example of how it is done in South Africa - the state has created a separate
department and legal acts regulating its cybersecurity.
