Our Induction Days ran on the first Wednesday of every month (subject to availability) and are a pre-requisite to all of our longer courses. The day is designed for those who want to gain a basic understanding of what our longer courses entail and/or are trying to establish if a career in dog grooming is for them. The cost of this day is deducted from one of the longer course of your choice. THE COURSE WILL COVER Health and safety induction and UK Animal Welfare Legislation Handling and correct lifting techniques Preparing and grooming dogs prior to bathing Bathe and clean dogs Drying dogs and preparing their coat for styling Nail and ear care Finishing and styling demonstration by a stylist Students will receive all course materials and it is recommended that students bring along a camera for before and after photographs as well as pens, high-lighters and notepads.

This QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification is ideal for: - Parents/carers or family members who want to learn key paediatric first aid skills - those who work with, or intend to work with children in a childcare setting as it is designed to fulfill Ofsted’s First Aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide) Childcare settings who are working towards Millie’s Mark We also run a Paediatric Annual Refresher to keep those life-saving skills up to date Accredited, Ofqual regulated qualification: Our Paediatric First Aid at Work course is a nationally recognised, Ofqual regulated qualification accredited by Qualsafe Awards. This means that you can be rest assured that your Paediatric First Aid certificate will fulfill the legal requirements. It is a very good way to make sure you and your employees are trained in First Aid for Children and Infants (babies). The Ofqual Register number for this course is 603/0785/7

The qualification is aimed at learners already working or preparing to work in industry that is identified within the company's risk assessment of First Aid. The qualification has a recommended course duration of 2 days; however the course duration may be increased to meet additional learning needs if required but not reduced.

A choir for People from the Global Majority to find community in song. Led by Aisha Ali (they/them), all songs will be taught by ear so no need to know how to read music. Songs will be in a variety of languages and sessions will be playful. We'll start every session with a grounding. This is a an Anti-Racist and solidarity space, rooted in joy.  When? 1st Sat of every month starting 6th April Where? Bristol Old Vic  What time? 3-5pm!!!! Report Writing 1 Day Training in Birmingham

At Clay With Carole we offer group classes for all ages and abilities in hand building in clay. During this thorough and enjoyable 6-week evening course you will learn how to prepare your clay, and the main methods of hand building. You will be introduced to a variety of decorating techniques, ceramic materials and glazing. Each week you will make your original pieces using a different technique of hand building and through the duration of the course you can experiment with decorating techniques, application of ceramic materials, and a range of glazes.
