Vicky Ringer is a Specialist Dyslexia Teacher and an Assessor of children with Specific Learning Difficulties. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties. She is a member of the British Dyslexia Assocation and holds a practising certificate. Vicky has 12 years experience of teaching both mainstream and special educational needs. She decided to specialise in dyslexia after teaching lots of children within the mainstream classroom who displayed good understanding verbally but struggled to write down their ideas, found it difficult to remember ideas and were often disorganised. She saw how having a diagnosis of dyslexia and being taught in a dyslexia friendly way, could raise a child’s self-esteem and self-belief that they can achieve in the world. Vicky understands how difficult school can be for dyslexic students and is committed to helping them realise their potential through having a dyslexia assessment and through recommending appropriate strategies of intervention. She understands the concern and frustration parents often feel if their child is underachieving and works carefully to assess and recognise the child’s difficulties.

Lorraine has been working with adults with dyslexia for eight years; she also has experience of working with children and has supported students at Dyslexia Action. She has been involved in assessing and teaching at the two main FE providers in Leicester as well as at De Montfort University. She has a postgraduate certificate in Dyslexia and Literacy and a Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing (both validated by the University of York). She is a Member of the British Psychological Register of Competence in Psychological Testing. Her Practising Certificate was issued by Patoss.

Since becoming a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor in December 2000, I have been providing driver training in and around Stirling. My goal is to teach you to drive safely, independently and with self-awareness, not just to pass the practical driving test. Paloma Forde  is a leading expert in the field of special educational needs & dyslexia with 27 years in the educational sectore!   Early Intervention and Early Detection are essential!  She founded Dyslexia Support Services in April 2016 and by January 2017, already received recognition by Dragon Den's Theo Pathitis by winning Small Business Sunday. (Only 1% of 370 000 make it!)   She then went on to get recognition about her work by Jacqueline Gold (CBE) in June the same year.  She provides screenings, specialised tuition, assessments, workshops, webinars for parents & professionals and Growth Mindset coaching for kids.   She has worked across all Key Stages of the National Curriculum and currently supports private students as well as support students with asd at her local university.
